"I can't believe it, she woke up after all this time. After two years." Zadie heard an unfamiliar male voice say as her eyes started slowly filling with a bright light, covering the darkness. As her eyes opened, Zadie's brown eyes gazed around the room.

She seemed to be in a hospital.

All Zadie could remember was her father Tomas White turning the wheel of the beige BMW they had. She remembered a metallic crunching sound, then everything went dark.

"Mrs. White, how are you?" The male voice asked who seemed to be the doctor. Zadie quickly sat up. "Where am I? Where are my parents? Who are you?" Her voice quickly spat out questions.

She was terrified, she wanted her parents, she wanted to hug her mother.

"Mrs. White please. It's better if you lay down. Your brain is still recovering slowly, tho it won't help if you move around." The doctor said. Zadie looked at him then did what she was told.

"Can you please answer my questions?" Zadie asked while lying down on the white mattress.

"I'm Dr. Parker. You're in the hospital, you fell into an a coma after being in a car wreck. Tho this last answer may be hard to take in. I'm upset to inform you that. Tomas and Sidney White, your parents, unfortunately did not survive. I understand if you need some time, I'll leave you here. I'll be back to check on you." Dr. Parker said before walking out of the room into the hallway.

Zadie was in disbelief. Tears slowly started to make their way down the side of her face. Since she was laying down it fell down on the sheets. Tho she had to figure out what happened, she had to pull herself together.

As mush as she wanted to crawl up into a ball on the mattress, she couldn't her parents would want her to be strong. She quickly wiped her tears with the back of her hand and started to think. She had heard it had been two years since she the incident.

She was sixteen when the crash happened.

It was her birthday when they decided to go to a restaurant, they never had much money. Nor did they do much for her birthdays usually, but apparently that day was special.

Now she must've been eighteen.

She tried to get her mind to think more. She tried to remember more about the incident. She found her mind remembering a fire, she seemed still in the car. She saw both her parents unconscious, her father with his forehead on the steering wheel, and her mother leaning on the window.

There was blood on her, her mother, and father. Tho she saw a girl, the same girl. out the window. Her dark black hair matched hers. Her white dress with blood stains, eyes looked lifeless, covered in black. She looked soaked, like she had been in a lake and came out. Zadie saw the girl moved her lips. She didn't know if it was her imagination, though she could have sworn she whispered the words help.

She had been seeing this girl for a while now. She even told her parents, she was terrified of her. After she had told her parents they had an unusual reaction. They just said that Zadie was just delusional and imagining it.

Zadie decided to believe it. She didn't think it was real. She believed it was her imagination, just her mind. Nothing more.

After that all she could remember were sirens, then her vision went black. Though she could have imagined the whole thing.

She looked out of the hospital window and had seen it was dark. She knew the doctor had said to lay down, she couldn't help it she needed to see if the world had changed much. She slowly got up in her hospital gown and slowly made her way there. She looked down and saw new businesses.

It hadn't changed much tho, she wasn't really expecting much in two years.

There wasn't many people in the street, just a few cars passing by, some even parked on the side of the rode. She took her gaze to the moon in the sky, she was hoping she could take time to process the death of her parents Tomas and Sidney.

After she had processed for a good amount of time she took one last gaze before turning.

There she was met by the lifeless eyes the girl had. The same hair, the same dress stained and soaked. This time she heard the words she whispered.

"Help"

her voice sent chills down her spine. Tho what bothered her is... she kept repeating herself.

"Help...Help...Help"

Her voice kept going and going, the space of time she said it. Suddenly she stopped. Her brown pupils looked at her, she was near inches away. She then suddenly screamed bloody murder.

Her voice started to hurt her ears the more it went on. She wondered if this creature she "imagined" was even a person.

She covered her ears while shutting her eyes tight praying it would go away.

Suddenly it stopped, she opened her eyes to find the creature gone. The door then opened to reveal Dr. Parker. "Mrs. White if you want to recover I suggest you get to bed it's very late. Now please off to bed, I trust you to do so." He said before shutting the door.

Zadie was relieved to just see it as her imagination. She was relieved that it wasn't real. She then started to walk, tho her foot felt... wet. She looked down to see a fresh puddle of water, it looked like it had something to make it turn red. Did she really imagine it? Was this a dream? It was only her mind playing tricks. It wasn't real, it was apart of her mind. She thought, she then tried to reassure herself.

Everything is fine, you're okay. You're getting taken care of. You're fine, just... fine. She kept telling herself as she walked to her bed.

She climbed into her hospital bed, she hoped she would be able to go home tomorrow, or soon. She had trouble sleeping. I mean who wouldn't she woke up from a two year coma and saw a creepy girl, on top of that she found out her parents are no longer living.

Tho the biggest problem was she kept feeling like someone, or something, was watching her. Like their eyes had made them lock on her. However it was just a feeling, Zadie just brushed it off like dust on something and fell to rest. Her eyes became heavy, tho just as she shut her eyes she saw a shadow above her bed for a split second.

It felt like a spell had been put on her. Her eyes shut, her fist clenched for a second then fell asleep, causing her to relax her hands.
