"Not today I have plans." Zadie answered. She didn't really want him to know about the photo, he had seen every one of the photos. If he saw one he didn't recognize he would definitely question it. Maybe the police also knew all the photos, better to be safe than sorry. "What kind of plans?" Blake asked confused. "The kind of plans you need to keep your nose out of." Zadie crossed her arms, her eyebrows raised. "You're a pain in the ass, you know that?" Blake said before exiting through the door.

As soon as that door clicked shut Zadie quickly took the photos and went up to her room. She collected the photo in her bathroom and put the photos and book in the floor boards. She slid the white carpet from her bathroom on top, to cover it.

She needed to hide it, she needed more time, she needed to look at them longer. She knew this job of hers wouldn't last long, but she had to try. Zadie knew she could get farther than anyone had.

Perhaps they had files, maybe she could look at them. But there was no way they were going to allow that. Which ment, she had to steel it. But how was the question. She had to have more time to think. She could worry about that later. Right now wasn't a good time.

"Zadie!" She heard Blake yell out from downstairs.

Zadie quickly made it seem like everything was just fine, like it was before. "Yes?" She asked getting to the last step. Zadie suddenly got pulled by her arm, she quickly yanked her hand back. "What? What happened, what's wrong?" Her voice frantic, she didn't know how to act. She looked into his eye and saw, fear.

"There is a rapid shooter out there, I don't know who the fuck that psycho is. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was the killer going around. We need to leave, now. It has gotten to dangerous, this killer has killed to many people. Everyone is leaving as fast as they can, it isn't safe here." Blake gasped for air, he was out of breath. Zadie just stood there in shock. If Marilyn isn't the cold blooded killer, then who is?

"Zadie!" Blake yelled, snapping her out of her thoughts. Just then she heard at least twenty shots being fired, followed by screams of bloody murder.

"Let's go!" He yelled as he led her out of the door. "Wait, wouldn't it be safer to stay inside?" Zadie thought if there was a person shooting outside, why go towards them? That wouldn't be the safest option she thought.

"And stay here in this fucked up town? Zadie, if you stay here you're dead." The screams had gotten louder, the shots multiplied. Every second it fired at least thirty shots. "Fine, let's go." Zadie and Blake ran out. They both immediately ran down the street.

They ran down a dark alley way. There hot breath was able to see in the cold icy air. Zadie still had a sweater and sweatpants on, with no shoes. She saw almost sixty police cars lined up, trying to get the shooter to stop. Zadie looked back and saw a good view of them.

She could tell he was a man. He wasn't wearing anything to cover his face. His face was easy to spot, did she wake up in a world where everyone is a dumbass or what. He had jet black hair and blue eyes. He was shooting everyone he could, the only people he didn't kill, were children. She had thought about it when she ran, the killer never had killed a child not that she knew of.

She came across to what looked like a teenage girl, around eighteen. It looked like she had sprained her ankle. At first she ran past but then she really thought. Zadie ran back and put one of her arms around her shoulder. Zadie picked the girl up and started to sprint.
"Zadie, you can't save everybody." Blake yelled while stopping from running.
"At least I can try!" She yelled back as she helped the girl stand on her feet.
"If you're not going to help then go, I'll catch up." She waved her free hand out of carelessness. Blake rolled his eyes before he started running again.
"You okay?" Zadie asked the girl while running.

"Experienced worse pain." The girl let out a loud breath, the girl was so calm it was impressive. More shots fired followed by more screams. Zadie picked up her pace. They ran into another alley way, they ducked behind a dumpster. Zadie set the girl down and started to look at her ankle.

"Whats your name?" Zadie asked while looking at her ankle.

"My name is Emily, Emily Grace. Yours?" Emily took a long sigh. "Zadie White. Are you crazy? You could have been killed out there." Zadie looked at her ankle, it wasn't too bad, just a bruise.

"And? I couldn't walk, what do you expect me to do? Grow legs?" She had a good point. "You got a good point." They both needed to find Blake, but in the meantime, they needed to find some place for the night.

"Why did you come back for me?"

Zadie didn't know how to answer that question. She guessed it was just the right thing to do. She didn't really know. "That's not important, can you walk?" Zadie looked around frantically, seeing if there was anyone.
"I think so, why?"

"Because, we're gonna get a cheap place, or anywhere away from here at least. You can either come, or go on your own. I don't really give a shit." Zadie got up and looked around before turning the corner.

Emily just sat on the ground, thinking. Without another moment, she got up and followed Zadie. She was still limping, but she could suck it up. Emily finally caught up to Zadie.

"So, what place?" Emily asked out of breath. Zadie looked over at her before pointing to a nearby small hut. It looked run down after the shooting, but it was getting dark. They had no other choice. "That shit whole? Can't we choose someplace else?" Like they had any other place to go to.

"I told you, Emily. You can either go, or stay. I don't give a shit." Zadie said before sprinting over to the building. Emily rolled her eyes before following. Her ankle finally started to get the strength it needed back.

That place looked like it was literally out of a horror movie. How were they both going to live there for the time being?

Guess they'll find out.
