Zadie looked at the woman stunned as she thought. Her eyes big and wide. She didn't know rather she should run, hide or help her. It was extremely creepy. Imagine seeing a woman covered in blood in the forest. What made it worse was she was on the floor, crawling towards her. That's some horror movie type shit, and that type of shit Zadie was not dealing with. Without another second thought, she ran for her life.

She ran as far as her legs could take her, which wasn't very fast, but at least she was faster than her crawling. But what was odd was, she became, faster. Almost incredibly fast. Zadie looked back to find that woman, or if she could even call it that, running like an animal. What the fuck was this thing.

Emily was hiding behind a tree, she spotted Zadie running. She looked to see what she was running from. It was a woman. It was creepy, horrifying even. As the, thing, ran it left a trail of blood. Emily had to think fast. She wanted it to get away from Zadie, but she didn't want the damn thing to follow her. What could she do? She looked around to see a medium sized rock.

She could throw it at it. It was worth a shot.

Zadie had stopped looking back. She hated the fact that every time she did, it was closer each time. As she was running she thought. Which she didn't know how, considering a maniac woman was running at her, but she did. Her head thought, wasn't Emily following her? God, why did she have to be so difficult.

Though, to be fare she did know she was. Why? She had no clue. She had no clue how close it was, all she knew was she had to run.

Zadie ran for her life. Like there was a giant bear chasing her, like a mountain was tumbling down, like there was no tomorrow. She hid behind a tree, out of sight from the woman who was chasing her.

After a couple moments of her hiding, trying her best not to make a single noise. She looked back. To her surprise, the woman was gone. Her gaze carefully looked through the millions of trees. Trying to search for the woman that was chasing her just a second ago. But she didn't find her no where. Where had she gone? What if she had went to the house? What if she had gotten to Emily? Was she in danger? The questions spun around her head, she looked frantically around the trees before sprinting towards the house.

Just as she was about to cross the empty rode she had heard a twig snap. Zadie snapped her head back looking through the tall trees.

"Relax it's just me." Emily came from behind one of the trees. "Dear god, you scared the living shit out of me. Are you okay? Did you see the woman anywhere?" Zadie asked frantically, looking at her body up and down before pulling Emily into a warm hug.

Emily thought about what to respond with. She didn't want her to know that she had followed her, even though it was clear as day that she had for Zadie. Though, all she cared about was her being safe.

"What woman?" Emily put her best acting skills into those two words spoken. Her acting was good enough to fool Zadie, she let out a sigh of relief. Zadie's face then turned to seriousness, her whole demeanor changed. "Are you gonna tell me why you followed me?" "Shit." Emily whispered under her breath. She was busted, she tried to make Zadie forget but that plan hadn't worked.

"Pff, followed you? Why would I do that?" Emily waved her hands out in front of her. Her acting wasn't good, not even decent. It was horrible, terrible. Maybe she knew she was already busted either way, so she hadn't put any effort.

"Oh yeah, I totally believe you." Zadie said sarcastically. Zadie just stood there, quietly, looking her up and down, one eyebrow raised waiting for an answer to her original question. Emily wasn't going to lie, she looked rather intimidating. She knew that Zadie had a good heart, if she didn't she wouldn't have saved her. Though, with Zadie looking how she was, she looked like she could kill you and would kill you. But if she killed you, she really could get away with it.

She just had that 'talent' in her. Though, that's only if she did.

Emily tried to keep the words on her throat, trying hard to not spill them. She couldn't hold back the words in her throat, they had to leave, they had to come out, she had to tell Zadie.

"I just- really wanted to come with you, I didn't want you to go alone. I wanted to make sure you were safe. I decided to do it cause I hate being alone and I just-" Emily spat out a jumble of words, but was cut off. "Woah, woah, woah, that's a lot of words to take in at once. Slow your rode." Zadie said waving her hands.

"Just, please let me come. I'm really scared of-" Zadie quickly finished her sentence, full knowing what came next. "Scared of being alone, I know. You can come with."

Emily jumped for joy, hugging Zadie tightly enough to almost suffocate her. Zadie carefully pushed her away, though Zadie loved her like a sister, she just didn't like showing her love with touch. "Only if you follow my rules." Zadie said, strictly. Emily waited for her to speak again. "You will never go out of my sight, nor get in my way. Got it?" Emily nodded her head to signal she understood.

Zadie sighed before looking around the other side of the rode. Making sure the woman was long gone. "Another thing, try to keep up." Zadie said before she walked fast heading her way to the town.
