Zadie woke up from her slumber. She still felt unusual, she hadn't slept like that in. Forever. It felt odd waking up from a slumber, instead of just not. She had to get used to that new kind of thing. She sat up slowly and leaned her back on the bed stand. She pulled the white covers up on her body to warm her from the cold air. Why did hospitals always have to be so cold, she hoped it would change in two years.

Tho, it didn't. The cold breeze was still the exact same as, before. She rubbed her eyes before her brown eyes looked around.

She tried to get to know her surroundings. Tho what was... odd. She thought her bed moved a bit during her slumber. She felt she was more to the right, being closer to the window. She must have just imagined things wrong, there was no possible way.

Why would someone move her bed while asleep. "Mrs. White you're awake!" Dr. Parker said while closing the door behind him, then walking toward her. "Wonderful, now if you don't mind I'm going to do a quick checkup to make sure you're healthy. After that you can have breakfast, I'm sure you're dying to eat."

A sigh escaped his lips. "I do also apologize by bringing this up, however, since your parents died you inherited their possessions." Dr. Parker said sounding apologetically in his tone.

"It's fine, I have quite mourned enough. But I'm still heartbroken at the idea." Zadie answered trying her hardest not to burst into tears. She had not mourned enough, she was still heartbroken at the idea yes. So she told a half truth. She didn't want to admit it, but she didn't want to sound like a psychopath.

Dr. Parker then began to run a series of tests. After all the tests, all Zadie wanted to do was go home. She couldn't bear this place, she hated the cold air, the colors, her wild brain. She despised almost everything in that room. Not that she truly did, tho she really did loath the freezing breeze. It had felt like she was in a snow storm, sure, she may have been a little dramatic. But still, it didn't change the matter.

Dr. Parker did tests from checking her blood pressure, checking her head, he basically checked her head to toe. She was ready to go home in her nice cozy home, by a warm fireplace, with a blanket and most importantly. Coffee.

"Good news Mrs. White, you get to go home this evening." Dr. Parker said removing his stethoscope from her heartbeat. Those words made Zadie so relieved, like when rain finally poured in a drought.

Watering all the plants, bringing life. However she contained herself to look happy, but not as happy on the inside. The corner of her lips pulled upward, settling a smile to her face.

"Thank you, now I don't mean to be rude. But I would love some food, I'm starving." Zadie said, she hadn't eaten yet. "Of course, I will be back quickly. After you eat well give you your possessions. However if you feel pain, or have any problems. Please contact us as soon as possible. Oh, before I forget. There will be a police officer to drive you home and in case something happens." Dr. Parker said while getting up from his chair and about to head out the door.

"Thank you, and I'll be sure to do that." With that Dr. Parker left the room.

Zadie was thankful, she didn't want to fill him in on that girl. She didn't know for sure tho. After all she did just wake up after an a coma. So it could definitely just be her mind playing tricks.

She decided to ignore it, for now. About thirty minutes passed by, she was so hungry that she could eat herself. She saw the door open at the corner of her eye.

Her gaze slowly went to the door. She then saw a what looked to be a nurse, walk in with a tray. Finally food she was starving, the tray was put on the table beside her. "Here you go darling, I apologize it took that long. In a bit I'll bring your belongings, press that button when you're done." The nurse said while pointing to a button on the table.

"Thank you, I greatly appreciate it." Zadie said before the nurse exited the room. The nurse flashed a smile before exiting the room. Finally, she could eat.

She put her hands on the tray, bringing it on her lap. The tray had some eggs, toast, which was a bit burnt. And some orange juice. It was plain and didn't have much, but what did she expect. A five star meal?

I mean she was in a hospital, not a five star restaurant. She put the food in her mouth, enjoying every bite. With in a matter of minutes she was done. When she was done she put the tray on the table, her hand started to reach for the button when she saw something.

She thought she saw something on the ground. She looked at the ground by the wind to see... the water puddle, with the same dark red color. Zadie closed her eyes praying it was all her imagination.

Her eyes opened after a good, solid, minute.

It was... gone. A sign of relief escaped from her lips. She then presses the button to say she was done. After a few moments, the door opened revealing the same nurse with all of her stuff. "Here you go, darling. Now be sure to take care of yourself. Don't want to come back now do we?" The nurse said, making both of us giggle.

"Now you can go get changed while I wait outside the door." The nurse said while her hands held out to her with her stuff. Zadie grabbed them as the nurse quickly ran out the room.

She unzipped the bag and looked through it to find some decent, but comfortable cloths. She found a black comfortable bra, a white simple t-shirt, and some blue ripped jeans to go with. She quickly changed out of her blue hospital gown, into the cloths she had picked.

Her hair had been down. She tied her black long hair in a ponytail, to get it out of her face. She looked at herself in a make up mirror. She wanted to check if she looked at least half decent.

"You look beautiful." A whisper behind her said. Her head quickly looked behind to find nothing but the cold air.

Perhaps it was just her minds way of telling her she looked good. And she looked, okay. She thought. She still believed it was just her mind. I mean, she was probably going to have mind issues. However, it was starting to seem like it wasn't.

Zadie put the mirror in her bag and put on some white sneakers. Then she threw her bag over her shoulder, and walked out. She met with the nurse outside. "I'm ready." Zadie said while looking at the nurse while smiling.

"Okay, let's get you going darling."
