As I was thinking about this medication, Aro, Alec, and Felix walked in. This was not good. All three of them were unnecessary, especially Felix. I could see him watching me from the corner of his eye. Instinctively I tested the strength of my powers, they were strong enough. I looked at Aro and Carlisle.

"I'm not getting it." I said, steel in my voice. Aro made a 'tsk' sound.

"You see Myla, you have too. That is, if you want to keep your sister safe. It would not be much of a lesson if you die of natural causes." Aro said. I was gritting my teeth the entire time he spoke.

"Since when was vampire venom a natural cause? Also, you guys sped up the process so you did have a hand in it if that is what you want. Besides, you said one of us had to be a lesson. I either die, or become immortal. I will most likely die first, therefore your justice has been served. What would the other covens think if you took action against an innocent coven?" I was glad to say this in the presence of Carlisle, he should know what I was doing, and what Aro had said.

"I can not have you dying on your own, the lesson is to either kill the human who knows, or change them." Aro replied.

"Then kill me. Also, from what Alice showed you last time she was here Bella will be immortal in another year or so. They are waiting, which is what you guys are doing with me. If you claim they are lawbreakers for not changing her immediately, doesn't that make the Volturi lawbreakers too? You can not harm her or the Cullens without the charge being pressed upon yourselves." Aro floundered for words for a second, trying to think of an appropriate answer. After a minute he still hadn't responded. I realized I had just outsmarted one of the oldest, and most cunning vampires in existence.

"This is not a choice, Myla." He said, trying to keep calm. I could see the anger in his eyes. Funny, he didn't like his own laws used against him.

"There is always a choice, and I choose no." he seemed to ponder this for a moment, then made a small movement with his hand. Alec and Felix sprang forward as one, grabbing me.

"Do it please Carlisle." Aro ordered. I watched as Carlisle prepared a needle with a small chip in it. I thrashed hard against Alec and Felix's stone grip. I screamed in anger and fire ripped up my arms. The two vampire's stony grip disappeared. They took half a second to recover then turned on me. They started forward, and on a whim I threw out my hand. Darkness circled them, blinding them. They stopped, crying out that they couldn't see. I saw the black mist curl from Alec's hand, my own darkness swallowed it, making it useless. My hand was starting to shake badly, and the darkness was dissipating. It vanished altogether and it only took a heartbeat for the two vampires to recover and come charging after me. The air held them in place, I felt the pressure rise, and small cracks began to form on their faces.

"I said no." I told Aro, my voice dangerously calm. He looked at me, then nodded at something behind me. Too late I turned and hands grabbed me, pinning me to the floor. Unbeknownst to me, Demetri had entered the room and crept up behind me. Now he held me pinned to the floor, I had just about gotten him off of me as Alec and Felix recovered. All three of them held me pinned down. I still fought, refusing to give in.

"Shadows appear." I yelled as quickly as possible. A hand went over my mouth just before I gave the order. I thought as hard as I could 'offense'. I tried to project the thought to them, but they seemed to hesitate. I screeched in my head as loud as I could at them, that seemed to do the trick. Swords sprang into their hands, just as they were about to attack I lost my hold on them. The reason for that being the needle prick in my left arm. I thrashed as hard as I could, before noticing the blood clawing up my throat. I would choke on it if I stayed in this position. I now fought with renewed purpose against their hold. I felt wet on my cheek and realized angry tears had fallen. There was time to worry about that later. The blood flowed into my mouth, causing me to choke on it, as I had predicted. The hand on my mouth was removed as the vampires looked at me in confusion. As soon as the hand was off my mouth I screeched at top volume in a slightly gurgled voice,
