Vivan's POV.
Tanishka's parents, Sunanda and Abhiman, sat it in the car biding their good bye's to their daughters.
Everyone believes that the Grah pravesh ceremony will happen in mumbai where they believe is our actual home, but the truth is something else.
"Bring all the things required for grah pravesh ceremony." Dadiji ordered amd the maids bowed their head obeying her.
Tanishka scrunched her face in confusion and dart her head towards me. I avoided her gazes as I can't give her any explanation right now.
"Come." Dadi ji gestured with her hands.
She walked towards the big door of our palace managing her lehenga. I walked behind her. This whole situation is so messed up and I'm glad she's coping up with it without making any scene. But I also know for sure, this silence is the silence before storm comes.
We stood in front the entrance followed by vedant and Trisha. Tanishka will perform the ritual first as she is the elder daughter-in-law.
The path inside the main hall which leads to the staircase was decorated beautifully with rose petals. Tanishka had her head low all the time, the spark of happiness which was on her face till evening was faded for a obvious reason.
Harshada walked towards us with a plates of kumkum. She kept them on the floor and a maid kept the Kalash filled with rice near the entrance.
"Slightly push this Kalash with your right leg, ok?" Dadiji said softly. Tanishka nodded her head, lifting her leg to push the Kalash. The Kalash fell on the floor spilling the rice.
"Now lift your right leg forward and keep them in the plate and imprint your foot prints on the floor." Dadiji instructed.
Tanishka nodded her head keeping her legs in the plate, her dupatta was getting stained by the red colour in the plate so I lifted it up in my hands walking behind her.
"Aaahhh!" She hissed in pain squinting her eyes. She loosed her balance and fell on my chest and I held her in my arms. "What happened? What's wrong?" I panicked.
Tears gathered in her eyes as she looked in my eyes. She was going to step forward out of the plate and I held her tightly as she wasn't able to stand on her own.
She slowly pushed me away trying to stand on her own. I frowned my eyebrows sitting on my knees trying to look what's exactly wrong. Her leg was bleeding, my eyes widened and I darted my head towards the plate and it had piece of glasses in it.
The blood inside me started boiling and I shooted my head up gritting my teeths. "Who the hell kept this plate here??!" I roared in anger. "I-I did-" Harshada stuttered getting scared. What the fuck is happening today?? What stupid things are these two idiots cooking?? And what the hell does she mean by I did it?? Is it a fun show going on you'll just pop out of no where and hurt people like it's not a big deal. I'll deal with her latter what's now important is treating Tanishka's bleeding leg.
I quickly stood up lifting tanishka in my arms. "I can-" I cut her off. "Shut up!!" I sneered. She's still being so stubborn and trying to act tough. She's been like this since our childhood, always acting tough when I know she's literally breaking from inside.
I felt the rose petals under my foot on which tanishka was going to walk. I looked at her who had her eyes closed trying to control the pain. I felt so angry at this point that I don't even know what I'll do to harshada.
" Harshada bring the first AID!!" I shouted keeping Tanishka on the couch taking her legs on my lap. I gritted my teeth hard as my heart felt heavy looking at the glass pieces in her legs.
