Ben drove the van down the highway tapping the steering wheel nervously. Darius was sleeping in the passenger seat trying to shut out Ben's tapping. Sammy was in the back seat texting Kenji but getting no response.

"Oh boy..." Ben said causing Darius groan and look at his friend.

"Something on your mind?" Darius asked.

"What?" Ben said. "Oh no, no, no. Nah. I'm good."

"Ben..." Darius warned. "Obviously there's something with the, 'tap, tap, tap' going on. What's wrong?"

"Whatever, I don't want to talk about it. It's nothing." Ben said.

"Benjamin." Sammy said. "What's wrong?"

Ben sighed and beckoned. Sammy and Darius leaned their head's close to him.

"As happy as I am for Patrick and Yaz, it gives us a new problem." Ben said confusing Sammy and Darius. "In a few months, Yaz won't be in any condition to run or fight back against whoever's hunting us. She'll be vulnerable."

"Y'know, that's a good point." Sammy said.

"We have to find whoever's hunting us before..." Ben started but the car suddenly shook knocking the group off balance.

"BENJAMIN!" Patrick yelled from the back. "Keep your eyes on the road!"

"Sorry Pat, pothole!" Ben yelled back as Patrick entered the front of the van from the trunk. "Patrick, when the raptors attacked, they looked different."

"They adapt to their environment." Patrick said nonchalantly. "And there are theories they can camouflage."

"Oh." Ben said as Patrick frantically typed on his phone before sitting down. "You, okay?"

"No!" Patrick yelled. "Yaz won't return my calls. I'm terrified."

"I'm sure she's fine." Darius said.

"If it helps, Kenji isn't returning my texts either." Sammy said.

"How many times do I have to tell you two. Phones are traceable!" Ben said.

"I don't care Ben." Patrick said. "Yaz is my wife and is pregnant with my baby. I don't care about being traced right now."

"Even if it means putting them in danger?" Ben questioned.
