Episode 9: The Drop
Unknown Location
Sunset
Ben was sitting in front of the unconscious dinosaur next to Sammy while Patrick and Yaz were sleeping in each other's arms against the wall.
"Shouldn't they be awake and ready if it wakes up?" Sammy asked.
"They'll wake up when they sense danger." Ben said. The Dino groaned as Yaz and Patrick both woke up.
"Hey Ben, hey Texan." Patrick said groggily. "How long were we out?"
"A few hours." Ben said as Patrick and Yaz stood up looking outside the opening. "Any idea where we are?"
Patrick and Yaz shook their heads.
Yaz sat down and held her knees close to her chest.
"Patrick... our... our home..." Yaz said shakily. "We... we were gonna raise our... child there."
Patrick hugged Yaz tightly while Ben and Sammy looked at them feeling bad for the two.
Timeskip
It was now nighttime. Patrick, Yaz, Sammy and Ben all were still sitting in front of the dinosaur. Patrick was sharpening his knife while Yaz Ben and Sammy were ready to move in case it woke up.
Suddenly, Patrick perked his head up. He stood up and looked around. The truck was slowing down.
"We're here." Patrick said as the truck stoped. The four got out of the cargo bay through the top and heard DPW officers from before.
The group hid behind the truck as they heard arguing.
"Just get her out to the field. Unharmed." A man said.
"We should find a phone." Sammy suggested. "Patrick, do you still have that communicator?"
"Uh.... No." Patrick said.
"Hey!"
The group turned to see a man in a cowboy hat and a suit.
"Hey, civilians aren't authorized to be here." The man said before getting a closer look at them. "Hold on... I know you... your part of the Nublar Seven. What's going on? Is Darius with you?"
"How do you know Darius?" Patrick asked.
"Know him? I hired him." The man said. "I'm Dubley Cabera."
The man stuck his hand out towards Patrick who just glared at the man.
