"M-Mom!" I stuttered, calling out to her. My feet started moving on their own and I appeared in her warm embrace.
"Hello my little demon, have you missed me?" She said with a sad smile on her face. I nodded and rested in her arms. She explained that I didn't have long and I needed to get to a better place.
"You must go home, past Tera's house and into the garden. There you will meet someone named Lust. The school he goes to holds the answers you need. Please, before it's too late, 𝓰 𝓸 . . ." And with those final words, she crumbled into nothing but ash.

Before I could even comprehend what just happened, I felt a warm, liquid seeping through my shirt. The figure was nowhere to be seen.. my vision blurred as I got up and tried to teleported back home. Teleportation is weird, it's like getting ripped apart and back together- I limped past Tera's burnt down house and into the garden, I collapsed and the last things I heard was, "OH MY GOSH! NEKANE!?"

I woke up to the warm smell of pancakes being made. My body ached as much as a runners would after a 5,000 mile race. No breaks. I say up and winced as the pressure from my stab wound circulated, my breaths became heavy it became hard to see, I needed to call out for help.
I took a deep breath and said in an airy-exhausted voice, "Help...Help... me..."
I heard some rapid footsteps and then Tera burst through the door.
"NEKANE!! Oh thank goodness you're okay...!" She said running up to me and putting hey hand on my shoulders. Her eyes have tears about as shimmery as diamonds. I smiled weakly and nodded. I wanted her to know I was okay more than anything. My vision blurred once again and I couldn't bare it.
"Tera... I'm gonna... get some rest..." I said in the same airy-weak tone as before. Tera nodded and helped me lay back down. It wasn't long before sleep took over my body.
