It'd been two days since I'd arrived back home too Monaco, it felt like I hadn't been back at my apartment for years but in fact it hadn't even been three months. The place smelt dusty and felt so cold despite it being mid summer when I first arrived back. I dedicated the next day to cleaning, although I had left it spotless every surface felt dirty. So my Thursday consisted of blasting music and deep cleansing the house, I ended the day by lighting a candle, picking up a pizza and settling on the couch for a movie night.

It was now Friday and I had woken up early for a run and a celebratory coffee afterwards. Coffee was always my reward after an early morning run, motivation to leave the comfort of my warm bed. I ran some errands like picking up some post that had been waiting for me at the office, grocery shopping seeing as the kitchen was rather bland. It was late in the afternoon when I got a text from a group chat.

Charles Shall we cash in those free drinks from Lando tonight?

Lando Do I get a say in this?

Daniel No

Charles Does 8pm work for everyone? Maybe at La Venise?

Me Sounds perfect

I put my phone down prying open the fridge and pulled out a bottle of wine and poured myself a glass. La Venise was a real nice bar, but Fridays and Saturdays it turned into a club around nine or ten meaning they filed certain tables out of the large venue and the dj of the night began as the crowd gets progressively looser. It was a fan favourite amongst us drivers, especially Charles. I hadn't seen Charles or Bella the past few days so the idea of seeing them had me grinning from ear to ear as I ran to my bathroom and turned on the shower.

My speaker was turned up to the max as I had a scorching shower scrubbing my body and my hair, cleansing any dirt from my morning run of off my skin. After drying my hair I decided on straightening it, wanting to accentuate its length as it sat pin straight down my back. The bar was a dark scene, with low lights and leathered booths which I tried to match my makeup around. Using contour to carve out my features and sharpen my cheek bones and jaw. I did a smokey eye lining my water line with the black pencil and added a gold paste like shadow to my lid. The mixture of darks and golden's pulling the small bits of green in my eyes and highlighting them.

I opted for my favourite black heeled boots that sat snug around my calves and ended around mid shins. I always felt far too confident in these. I pulled on a black mini skirt and a burgundy satin halter neck top that tied behind the neck and at the lower back. As per usual I accessorised with an overload of gold jewellery. Adding large gold hoops as a statement.
