Authors pov:

"I am going back Lisa. Take care of him." Jungkook said before getting out. He went straight to his car and got inside it. There he let his so called demeanor fade away. Tears kept coming out of his eyes and he couldn't stop himself. He doesn't know what triggered him to be in this state. But he felt like something really important was going away from his life. He was scared. Scared to lose a person who he hasn't known for even ten days.
He thanked god that he is alright now. Then he started with his complaint.

"Why god why? Why did he came now!? Now that I know that I could never have him then why did you send him to me? All my life I didn't even cared about one person and now that I am going to marry someone I don't love, you just had to send him to make me suffer. It is so hard to digest that all the other people trying to hit on him have some chance but I, I don't even stand anywhere near them. Why god" Jungkook cried and took everything out in his mind.

After some time he calmed down and drove off to Taehyung's house.

"Hey man what are doing here at this time?" Tae came running down stairs on hearing jungkook shout his name.

"Tae-" Jungkook choked with a sob and fell on his feet. Taehyung was quick to get a hold on him.

"What happened? Did your dad so something?" He asked concerned.

"J-jimin" Jeon cried in his embrace loving the warmth he is getting from his best friend.

"What about jimin? Did he do something? Tell me kook i have never seen you like this before."

"I-i l-love him t-tae"

"What!?" Tae had to pull jungkook from his shoulder to look at his face.

"Are you serious?"

"Do y-you think I am joking around?"

"Like you literally love him and not his body are you sure?"

"Tae! You can't say that like this. I love him only not his body. That's what you think I am?"

"No jungkook but you haven't met him 2 weeks before and now you say you love him"

"I know i-its not been long but today when I saw him in all pain i thought- i thought something will happen to him and my heart couldn't be-bear it and I was-"

"Okay stop kook" Tae said hugging the said man again.

"I get it man. You are in love. I can see that in your eyes. You have never reacted like this for someone ever before."

"But tae i can't have him" He said crying more.

"I know it's a tough situation Jeon but I think you shouldn't just let it be."

"What do you mean by that?"

"I mean that you should go for it. If you really love him don't lose your chance boy"

"B-but tae I am going to engage his best friend and i don't know if he like me or not."

"What's the loss in trying jungkook. You can confront him with your feelings. Then let's see where it goes. But if you don't do so, you will regret it your whole life. You will blame yourself later on that you had the chance but you didn't work on it. Jungkook this is the first time you loved someone. Don't let it go in vain."

"But tae- would he accept me over his best friend?"

"I am not sure about it too but we can give it a try."

"I will think about it." Jungkook said finally getting up.

"You are strong jungkook. I have seen you going through worst. I hope you get what you want." Tae said hugging him.

"Thanks man. I should go now."

Next morning~

"How are you feeling now jimin." Lisa asked the boy. Jimin woke up early today. The nurse came to ensure whether everything was fine. They gave jimin some breakfast before leaving. Lisa woke up a little late and saw jimin already wide awake.

"I am fine Lisa. It was just an allergy. Don't worry."

"Shut up! You were brought to hospital. Of course it is serious. And by the way doctors told that we can take you home now. So you are going with me to my house. I will take care of you."

"No Lisa. I want to go back to my home and I have to go to work too."

"You are not going anywhere! I am taking you home that's final" Lisa said sternly.

"Lisa you know I joined last week only. I don't want to take holiday this soon and I have to take a leave for your engagement too..so please." Jimin said with a pout, sticking his lower lip outside.

"Fine! But hyung will drop you home and you can't say no"

"Okay" Jimin chimed.

"Hey min! How are you now?" So hyun asked entering through the doors.

"Fine hyung"

"Here I bought you flowers. Hope you get fine soon." He said handing the bouquet of red roses to jimin.

"Thank you hyung"

"Now let's go or you will get late for work." Lisa said cutting in.

"Yeah lets go"

They did the formalities before leaving the hospital. So hyun drove jimin to his house with Lisa tagging along.

"Should I come with you jimin." Lisa asked.

"No babes. I can handle and have a great day." Jimin waved a bye to them before entering the apartment. He tried to find his main door keys but couldn't. He remember keeping them in his left pocket only. Did he lost it somewhere? Then his eyes fall on door handle. It was open.
