(one day before marriage)

Authors pov:

Jungkook was trying his luck for another and maybe the last day. Standing behind the car, he was praying to god for just one look of jimin. Tomorrow he is going to get married. So maybe this is the last chance of his to see jimin. Cause he can't support cheating in any case. Even if it is with the love of his life. Jimin hates it too. So does he.

And luck was to his side today. Jimin came out of his house with a bag in his hand. When jungkook saw that the older was coming towards him , he tried to hide properly but no use.

"Mr. Jeon! Can you please show some etiquettes and come out."

Jungkook with a embarrassed face came out, scratching the back of his nape. Though his heart beat was fast. Jimin looked so beautiful. His silky brown hairs complimented his white skin. His pink, moisturized lips were taking jungkook's breath away. It was like Jeon was falling again for the smaller.

"Good morning Jimin."

"And you think this is the best position to greet a morning?"

"I-i am sorry."

"Follow me inside the house" With that jimin went inside and jungkook followed him like a bee.

"Why are you wasting your time here jungkook? You are getting married tomorrow. Are you going to continue this routine of yours even after the marriage? I told you one thing I hate is cheating. And I can't support it even if it's you-"

"No jimin! This was going to be last time. And it is. I also don't support cheating. I promised myself that this is going to be my last day here. From tomorrow I will start a new life." And jimin would lie if he said the words didn't hurt him. Jungkook was going to start a new life. With lisa and not him. This thought breaks his heart. But he couldn't complain. He was the one who rejected jungkook.

"Nice. Now go" Jimin said turning around, not wanting to show his tears to the other.

"T-that was rude." Jungkook said with a pout. He doesn't know what is happening to him or why he is acting like this in front of jimin.

"It was meant to be rude. I have been seeing you from past many days hiding like this. But I never came in front of you because I don't want you to grow more desires in you, for me." Somewhere Jimin was right and jungkook totally agreed with him. Jimin is always right. Duh!

"I get it jimin. I promise to never do anything like this ever again. And be a good husband. Even if I can't love her but I will try my best that she gets what she deserves."

"Good. And here I have something for you." Jimin gave the taller a bag that he was carrying earlier. Jungkook excitedly snatched the bag and opened it. Inside it was a silver chai with a ring in between, which had a small blue diamond in between. Shocked was an understatement that jungkook felt. The diamond looked expensive. Like really expensive. Amd it was.

"J-jimin-" Before he could continue, a soft hand came on his mouth.

"Shh...I know you will say that it's expensive. But it's not. Don't worry. And you have to keep it. It's my last gift to you. I don't know if I am doing the right thing by giving you this or even if I have a right to give you this but please..please keep it." Jimin requested.

"Fine. But I will pay for it. Give me the bill."

"If you will pay for this then how will it be a gift from my side. Don't be like this kookie. Keep it." Jimin whined, his tough demeanor changing into his own self making jungkook smile a bit.

"Okay. I will keep it. Thank you for such a amazing gift. I will keep this forever with me." The taller took the chain out of the box and gave it to jimin. Jimin took the sign and made the other turn around and bent a little so he could easily slide it over his neck. Once he secured the chain properly he took a step back.

"Jimin....I will always remember you. Hell! There won't be single moment when I will not be thinking of you. But I promise to be a good husband to lisa and never make her cry. I....i-" Jungkook choked on his words, overwhelmed by a lot of things.

(Finally the marriage day~)

Jungkooks pov:

It felt wrong. Standing here at the stage and waiting for Lisa to walk down the aisle gave me an unknown feeling. But it wasn't a good one. So it's the end. End of me and jimin's delusional love story in my mind. End of me being happy.

"I am proud of you son." Dad said while patting my back. He had a wide smile. The smile which I have never seen before. The smile that I begged to see in my childhood. But the irony is, I am seeing it on the worst phase of my life. The only good product coming out of this whole wedding is me seeing mom again. The only thing that is helping me in not giving up is her. I want to see her again. Want to hug her again. But for that I have to leave a lot of thing behind.

"Jungkook please smile a little. You are literally glaring at everyone." Tae whispered in my ears. I thank god to send him in my life. He has been through all the rough phases of my life. I might not tell him but he is very dear to me. My cute bear.

Am I not talking like this is my last day on earth? Well I can be a little emotional sometimes.

"Jungkook" I heard another whisper in my ear, but it wasn't Tae. I turned to my side to meet Sohyun. I looked at him puzzled.

"I know Lisa is my sister and all but I will recommend you to go with your heart. Money and contacts can't give you a happy life. You still have time. Choose wisely." He continued making me rethink all my life decisions.

"Huh?"

"You stupid! I know you love jimin. So does he. You will never find a perfect guy like him. I am still giving you time but after this I will surely make him mine." He said with a wink and went away.
No way! Jimin can't be his! He is mine! Or maybe not...GOD! HELP ME!

A picture of jimin giggling came into my mind. Damn! I can't leave that guy. I can't live without him. I know I sound stupid but that's the truth. I need to do something. Something to break this wedding off. Should I say no when the priest ask me? Yes that what I should do. Yes that's what I am going to do.

As I was busy in making up my mind about what to do, Lisa along with her father walked down the aisle. I took a glance at her before looking down. She looked good but I am sure if Jimin was in her place, he would have looked the prettiest. His eye smile would have fainted me already.

"Go ahead and take her hand." I was startled when my dad whispered in my ear. Hesitantly I stepped ahead and waited for her to keep her hand in mine. She was blushing and giggling, somewhat irritating me. Once we both were on stage everyone started clapping. A lot of people were called. And I can guess they all are high profile businessmen.

"So are you guys ready?" The priest asked. All of the important people gathered on the stage as the priest began with his work. But all I could think of what can I do.

"Do Ms. Kim take Mr. Jeon as her husband?"

"Yes!" I was out of my trance by Lisa's excited reply.

"Do Mr. Jeon take Ms. Kim as her wife?" Now it was my turn. My hands start sweating. Words couldn't be rolled out of my tongue. It was like my whole body was paralyzed.

"You stupid! I know you love jimin. So does he. You will never find a perfect guy like him. I am still giving you time but after this I will surely make him mine."

"No! I won't marry anyone else. It's you jungkook. I love you. I might not show it openly as you but my heart aches for you. I can't imagine a future without you. So please.."

"It's okay kookie. Our destiny would have different plans. Let's just go with the flow, hmm?"

Words revolved around my mind, making me unable to think straight.

Dad patted my shoulder looking at me with a tight smile as if warning me.

"N-"

"Jungkook you have a call to attend!!"
