Jimin's pov:

"YOU PROMISED ME TO COME A DAY BEFORE, DIDN'T YOU?" Lisa shouted at hoseok who came early morning on Wednesday.

"I am sorry Lisa. Something important came up last moment and I couldn't come." He said making puppy eyes.

"No! Jimin you will come with me down the aisle. Not you boy"

"Fine. If that's what it costs for an apology."

They both were chatting and having fun. But my mind was still lost in last night's incident. Did I do the right thing? Will Jungkook still be unhappy? Is he angry with me?

"Jimin? Where are you lost?" Hoseok said shaking my shoulder.

"Uhh- nowhere. Lisa I think you should get ready now. I will call the makeup girl." I said walking out of the room. After calling the make-up artist I went to the kitchen for some water. We were at one of the resort that Lisa's father own. Jungkook and his sides had also arrived in the morning. But I didn't get to see him since I was busy with those two crack heads.

"So your decision is final?" I turned around at the sudden voice only to meet eyes of Taehyung.

"Huh?"

"You know I have been with Jungkook since we were in diapers. We are like real brothers. Jungkook used to be so lonely in his childhood but he never showed it to anyone. After losing his mother at an early age he was very silent. He didn't even talk to me for a month. But I was still there for him. After one month of her death he came to my house and cried on my shoulder the whole night. After that I have never seen him cry for any other thing. Until...the night you got hospitalized. He came crying to me confessing that he was so scared to see you like that. He said he never wants to lose you and that he loves you. On my advice he proposed to you yesterday. Yesterday too he came crying to me. A-and he even said that you are doing the right thing." He seemed very emotional while saying so.

"Jimin I don't know if you are doing the right thing or not. But in my whole life one lesson I have learnt is to fight for your love. Even if it takes you to the death bed. I have seen my father cry every day for that single mistake he made that night. I won't go into details but I don't want jungkook to go through the same phase. So I as his best friend begs you to please accept him. Please jimin!" He said falling on his knees. I quickly made him stand up again. After a moment of silence I spoke.

"Taehyung you know when I was twelve years old, I joined a new school. Because in the old one I had a lot of bullies. The Park Jimin you see today wasn't the same before. I was fat and ugly and whatever you want to call. I wasn't even confident in myself. On my first day in the new school, a bunch of boys picked on me. And they were calling me names and making fun of me. They were seniors. They opened my bag and threw all my books around. Everyone else was also making fun of me and laughing at me. Then she came. Lisa. She stood in front of me and shouted at those boys. Even kicked or slapped one or two of them. They were about to hit her but at the same time teachers arrived and we were safe. She introduced herself to me and was my first friend in a while. She always stood up against everyone who bad mouthed about me. She taught me that it doesn't matter what shape and size you are. You have to be confident about yourself and then nothing can stop you. She never left my side at my lowest. Her mother never like me cause I wasn't of their class. But lisa fought with her mother for me. She went against her own mother to be with me. She is very kind and caring you know. The time when I lost both my parents she was there. She and hoseok stayed with me for whole three days. Taking care of me in every way. Lisa even requested her father to adopt me but I denied as I had my aunt and uncle. She and Hoseok taught me what love is. Its not only a romantic thing. Love is everywhere, in every bond you make. I can't hurt both of them Taehyung. If for you, your best friend is important then for me also my best friend is important. Yes I love jungkook but not more than those two idiots. I can't Taehyung. So please go." I was crying by the time I ended speaking. Taehyung also didn't have words to speak.

"Tae I told you not to acknowledge him" We both turned to see jungkook standing there.

"I was trying-"

"It's okay Tae. I will accept it as my fate. And I am so proud of myself that I fell for a guy who is this strong and chose the right path. And jimin please never think you hurt me by this rejection. You made me respect you more. I can never imagine what it is to be in your shoes. I promise to keep Lisa happy and safe. But always remember if you need anything don't hesitate to come to me. I will place my whole world in front of you." Jungkook said and ran away.

"Sorry for disturbing you jimin." Taehyung also walked away going behind his friend.

I was still standing there, with a glass of water in my hand. After drying my tears and washing off my face I returned to Lisa's room. She was getting ready and hoseok was sitting on the sofa just looking at the girl.

"Where were you?" Lisa asked.

"Just went to drink some water and then I got some work." I sat beside hoseok.

"I bought both of you a suit of my choice. And you both can't deny it." She ordered.

"Yes ma'am!" We both said in unison.

After four hours the function started. Every business and rich people were present there. Lisa was already in her beautiful off shoulder red gown. She was looking like a pretty doll. I was also ready in the white suit bought by Lisa. Not joking, i am also looking cute and handsome in this attire.

"Lisa it's time to go. Every one is there. Jungkook is looking handsome in his black suit." Her mom said excitedly. This is the first time I saw her like this.
We all walked down the stairs.
Lisa on the front. Her mom beside her. Me and hoseok on their back. And her other friends behind us. Everyone was astonished by looking at lisa. I was looking around when my eyes met jungkook's making the butterflies in my stomach go wild. He kept staring at me until taehyung bumped his shoulder. Looking at me even his soon to be wife is there. Such a red flag he is. But he is only staring at the one he loves even if there are many beautiful girls here. Such a green flag. Ugh! Can't I stop my delusion even here?

When we reached the stage Jungkook took Lisa's hand and help her walk up.
Everyone was cheering. I could feel someone staring at me. And I know it's not jungkook. I look around and saw Jungkook's dad glaring at me. Do he know me? Did jungkook told him about our- whatever it is? Is he angry on me because I denied? Or he is angry on me because his son loves me? I think the second option is correct as the things jungkook told me about him weren't very good.

My thoughts were broken by the sound of claps. I could see Jungkook putting ring on Lisa's finger. He seems hesitatant but he eventually did. Lisa excitedly put ring in his finger. Everyone was hooting and congratulating them.

"Hey jimin where are you lost?" Hoseok whispered in my ear.

"Nothing. Just can't believe our small girl is getting married."

"Yeah. I can't also." I know hoseok has feelings for Lisa. Anybody could tell. But he never made the first move. His love story will also be incomplete just like ours- mine.

I could see jungkook glaring at hoseok. Is he jealous? In his own engagement? For someone else?

The function continued and so did my and Jungkook's eye contacts.
