Time

Jimins pov:

I got ready for work and was about to lock the house when I heard a hustle behind me. There was Jungkook breathing heavily.

"Jungkook what happened?" I said going near him.

"Got some time?"

"Huh?"

"You said your ears are available right. So do you have some time right now." I thought for a second and then nodded. He came back here then of course it would be serious. We both got inside and I bought him a glass of cold water.

"Here drink this. Do you want to eat something?"

"No, thank you." He chugged the glass in a jiffy. I sat beside him on the couch and waited for him to calm down and speak. After a few minutes, he looked into my eyes before speaking.

"Jimin we were a normal family. A middle class family. A happy one. My dad used to work in a company. My mom was a housewife. They had a arranged marriage. But they always used to be a lovely couple. I was born after three years of their marriage. When I was six my dad left his job. He was planning to do a start up. Wanted to build his own construction company. My mom was against this idea. She told that if the idea was flop then we will be left with nothing. But dad didn't listen. He did what he wanted." He paused for second and I patted his back as to continue.

"M-my dad was gaining success but he forgot about us. He gave us his minimum time possible. I used to see my mom crying everyday for him. She was suffering so much. One night dad came home drunk. He...he was not in his senses and he forced himself on my mother. I could hear my mom's cries all night. I was terrified not knowing what to do. Next morning it was all silent. I woke up and went to mom's room. Dad wasn't there. Mom was lying on the bed alone. After that day everything was same as before. Dad did not give us time and all other things. Two months later my mom got to know she was pregnant. She was happy. After so many days I saw her happy. She told dad and surprisingly he came. He spent a wonderful day with both of us. Then he started giving mom time. She looked happy. Months went like this. On my mom's eighth month dad got a call at late night. My mom requested him to not go as she was feeling something wasn't right. But dad said it was important. And he went away. I was going to be eight soon. I woke up from my sleep when I heard my mom's cry. I ran to her room and there she was in pain. Blood was coming out of her private part. I didn't know what to do. I ran to her and hugged her. S-she told me to call dad. I did but he didn't pick up. I called the doctor. The ambulance came late. M-my mom was taken to hospital. But they couldn't save her. The doctors told that my mother already had some health issue. And they even recommend her to drop this baby. B-but she did not. She never told my dad about this. She just kept everything to herself and suffered alone. I didn't knew who to blame. My dad or me or the destiny. I was devastated." He was crying by the time it ended. I was too. I hugged him quickly.

"It's okay sshh.." I said rubbing his back.

"I know it was somehow my fathers mistake but he cannot be blamed fully. But today also he is the same. He doesn't know what emotions are. After my mother's death I never got love from his side. He was just fulfilling my materialistic needs. And my marriage with lisa is also profit for him." I somehow knew it was a total business.

"So you don't want to marry her?" I asked him. He looked into my eyes with his with unknown emotions.

"I don't want to hurt her. She is a good girl."

"She definitely is jungkook. She will take care of you and give the love that you deserve."

"Hmm"

We both kept hugging each other for sometime, just enjoying the warm embrace. His strong, muscular hand held my waist firmly making me feel giddy.

"You want more water?" I asked after a few minutes.

"No thank you. Jimin have you ever fallen in love?" The topic quickly escalated to something else.

"W-what? Why do you ask?" I didn't know what to tell him.

"Just casually. But you don't have to answer. I am stupid for asking so." He seemed to be embarrassed.

"I did! I fell in love with a guy in my high school. His name was Kai. He was like the most handsome boy in our school back then. So it was obvious of me to fall for him. But later he had a girlfriend and I didn't even stand a chance against her. So i gave up." I said remember those old times.

"O-oh. But I don't think any girl stand a chance against you." He said finally smiling.

"Stop it Jeon!" I knew he was teasing me. He was back to his usual self.

"Why? Does he still have effect on you."

"What? No! Of course I moved on now. It wasn't even that serious though."

"And what if he also had crush on you?"

"Then he would have been my boyfriend right now." I laughed even at that thought. He didn't reply anything though.

"Hey jungkook I was just kidding. What are you lost into?"

"Nothing. I should probably go by now. You are already late." He stood up and straightened his clothes.

"I don't think that would be a problem as you are the CEO" I joked.

"Yeah definitely. Come I will give you a ride."

We both got out of the house and drove off to office.

Authors pov:

"Where were you?" Jungkook was fired with the question as soon as he stepped inside his office room. Mr. Jeon was sitting on his chair with a stoic expression.

"That doesn't concern you-"

"You were with that stupid boy right?"

"Did you stalk me dad?" Jungkook asked furiously.

"I had to. You were giving me all reasons to. How many time do I tell you to stop this bullshit."

"Dad it's not what you think like."

"Then what it is? Tell me! I want to know what does that boy have that my son is going back to me again and again?"

"Stop it dad"

"Does he know black magic or what? Or does he have a great body to satisfy-"

"DAD! Don't you dare say things like these for him" Jungkook shouted.

"Why? You blood boils listening shit about him? And you say that 'it's nothing dad!' This is what you call nothing?"
This made jungkook go quiet. He didn't know how to reply to this.

"You can try to make me fool. But don't think I am one. If I will feel he is a threat to me and my company then you see what will I do."

"You can't do anything dad."

"Oh try me son. Then you will know what all I can do." With that Mr. Jeon went out of the office. Jungkook just stood there. His mind running miles per second. He didn't what all he did in past life to be in this mess.
