It has already been three months since Kim Dokja became Yoo Joonghyuk's guide. There haven't been many incidents lately and the world seemed quiet for now, although Kim Dokja can't say the same for him as he has to go through that grueling training every day. At least Yoo Joonghyuk would stay next room if something happened and his house wasn't bad either, it was nice and big.

Living with his esper gave Kim Dokja a certain sense of security, and it was also more practical, because at night, if a portal opened and he had to go on missions, they would arrive together, instead of Kim Dokja being arriving alone.

Today is a calm morning, Kim Dokja's body is sore, but a warm bath calmed all the pain in his muscles, and also helped him relax after that night of disturbed dreams. Breakfast had just been served on the kitchen table, the aroma of the food attracted Yoo Joonghyuk. Even as an S rank esper, he can't help it, the dishes Kim Dokja prepares are always tasty.

The food was good and both men did not seem interested in engaging in any type of conversation. Kim Dokja had noticed over time that his esper was a man of few words, who liked acting more than talking.

They ate quietly until a sound interrupted the pleasant silence, a knock was heard on the door. Joonghyuk ignored the person who knocked on his door so early in the morning, today they have a free day, so he doesn't want to see anyone other than his guide.

Another knock.

This time he won't ignore it, this person won't leave easily. Yoo Joonghyuk stood up and opened the door to his house, only to be greeted with a familiar and annoying face.

"Hey, hello, are you having a good day?" It was Han Sooyoung, an A-Rank esper who went on some missions together with Yoo Joonghyuk.

Combine Yoo Joonghyk's condition of extreme emotional indifference, with her horrible temper and constant bad mood, they form a deadly cocktail.

"What do you want?" Yoo Joonghyuk asked indifferently.

"Is it wrong to knock on my colleague's door and say hello?"

He glared at her. "That's not who you are, so say the reason you came here."

Han Sooyoung shrugged her shoulders. "Very well, I'll tell you, but first let me in."

Yoo Joonghyuk was not fooled by Han Sooyoung, but her urgent words persuaded him, if what she was talking about was so serious, then she wouldn't come to find him on their days off. Yoo Joonghyuk hesitantly let Sooyoung in and invited her to sit in the living room, which she did.

Kim Dokja peeked into the living room, only to find an unknown woman sitting on the couch, waiting patiently. When the woman became aware of someone else's presence, her eyes shone and a smile appeared on her face when she saw Kim Dokja enter.

"So you are the infamous guide who managed to control the savage beast." Han Sooyoung said excitedly. "I'm Han Sooyoung!" The esper introduced herself, leaving Yoo Joonghyk speechless after calling him a savage beast.

Kim Dokja accepted Han Sooyoung's offer of a handshake.

"My name is Kim Dokja, it's a pleasure to finally meet the other Espers working together."

"Yoo Joonghyuk barely lets people in." Han Sooyoung looked to see how the esper looked like right now.

It seems to be true. Kim Dokja had to agree.

"Yeah, it's weird he let you in." Kim Dokja couldn't keep his thoughts silent.

Han Sooyoung could only smile at his remark.

Yoo Joonghyuk said with a frown. "If you only came here to badmouth me to my guide, then leave."

"Alright, no more chatting, let's get straight to the point. I'll say it quickly, then you decide what to do, okay?" Han Sooyoung stared at Joonghyuk.
