For three days, Yoo Joonghyuk left Kim Dokja in the cave and traveled alone in search of the right path leading to the boss chamber. The journey was lonely and silent, not a single sound could be heard, making Joonghyuk feel uneasy, his sixth sense alerted him, he didn't know what, but he was sure that the portal is full of dangers and surprises.

In the midst of his thoughts, Yoo Joonghyuk saw an open space, in the middle was a strange humanoid figure standing without moving. When the distance between him and the figure closed, Joonghyuk could see it clearly, and then he froze, his eyes wide.

The figure was a carbon copy of himself.

"What the hell are you?"

The doppelganger smiled, his eyes devoid of life. "I am you."

The voice was like his own, but his tone was more malicious.

Joonghyuk raised an eyebrow. "Explain."

"I'm the reflection of your inner self, the side you've been hiding for years, the monster everyone fears." His doppelganger walked closer.

...

Meanwhile, Kim Dokja sat in front of the fire, wondering if everything was going to be okay. Anxiety was slowly consuming him, being alone in this silent cave made his mind fill with countless negative thoughts.

'Would Yoo Joonghyuk return safely? Is he alive right now?'

No, he shouldn't think negatively. Kim Dokja must trust his Esper, believe in his power, after all, it's Yoo Joonghyuk's specialty, he was able to defeat that polar bear in a few seconds.

Kim Dokja closed his eyes. 'Have faith in him, have faith in Yoo Joonghyuk.'

As he was about to relax his muscles, he felt the ground shake.

Kim Dokja jumped to his feet and looked towards the entrance, he couldn't feel anything breaking his barrier, so that means those tremors are coming from deep within the cave.

"What the hell is going on?!" Kim Dokja screamed, this is bad, was the cave never a safe place to hide?

Suddenly, deep within the cave, Kim Dokja could see a shadow running towards him, and as it got closer, Dokja noticed that the creature was a white wolf, a huge one.

"Shit! This is not a good time." Kim Dokja took a few steps back.

He was completely unarmed, but all he had to do was create a sword made of fire and pray to God that it would be effective. The wolf stopped just a few inches from the guide and bared its fangs.

Kim Dokja gulped dryly.

Before he could conjure the sword, the wolf lunged at him, biting his shoulder.

"Arg!" Dokja screamed in pain.

The wolf's fangs pierced through flesh and bone. The pain was unbearable, but his mind was focused on the wolf, he used his free hand to conjure the sword and plunged it into the wolf's belly.

The beast let go of Dokja's shoulder, groaning in pain and then fell to the ground.

It seems the monster wasn't as powerful as the polar bear and now Dokja's left shoulder was severely injured.

'I have to do something about this wound.' Luckily he's a guide, so he has healing spells. Kim Dokja focused on his wound, trying to heal himself.

...

Yoo Joonghyuk was fighting with his double, their swords clashed, creating a deafening noise. Joonghyuk didn't know what to expect from this fake, he didn't have much information, only that this being was an exact replica of him.
