We've been home for 3 days, and Jacob has an important pack meeting this morning, so Alec is refusing to leave my side, because grandpa says I could have the twins at anytime, I shift uncomfortably for the 10th time in 5 minutes, this causes out Alec to frown at me,then I get an intense urge to go to the bathroom, "don't lock it Ren!" Alec calls. When I waddle back to the living room, I have a powerful contraction.. "No, I'm not doing this without Jake, he deserves to see his babies be born especially after everything we went through!" I say through a pain filled breathe. "Jane, Val, one of you go get Dr Cullen and the other please track down her wolf!" Alec orders. "Owww! My water broke!" "You need to let me help, your contractions coming fast," Alec says calmly. He helps me lay on the couch, pulling my pants and underwear off. "The first baby's is already nearly here PUUUUSH Ren!" I scream. "It hurts so bad!" "Give me one more PUUUUSH!" Alec says, keeping me focused, I bare down, feeling just a bit of relief as the first baby is born. "It's a boy!" Alec says, his voice soft and full of wonderment, and I watch as Alec sinks to his knees looking completely overwhelmed with emotion,as he carefully cradles my newborn son to his chest.. Before I can give this a second thought, my grandpa and parents, rush through the front door, Jane leading the way,using their vampire speed to their advantage, followed less than a minute later by Val and Jacob.. Grandpa has already clamped and cut my son's umbilical cord, and has started having me push for the second baby.. Jake grabs my hand, encouraging me, through each push, and soothing me in-between.. I hear my dad grinding his jaw, hissing at Alec to give him the baby, as I'm growing exhausted from trying to deliver my second baby.. "Edward! Ness really needs to focus, can your hissy fit possibly wait?!! Love look at me, okay? I know this is very overwhelming, and you're in a lot of pain, but our baby needs you to push! You can do it! I'm right here!" I'm far from quiet, and it takes another 15 minutes, but soon our daughter is born.. Jake and I decided to name them Joplin Seth Black and Tallulah "Tilly" Skye Black. They are beautiful and look just like Jake.. Jake carries me to bed, laying both of the babies on my chest, telling me that he loves me, and I did such a good job.. Alec is hovering almost like he can't leave, but I'm honestly too exhausted to care right now, he's never been a danger to me or the babies, and something tells me he'd rather hurt himself before he hurts any one of my family.. so I let myself drift off, my little family surrounding me, and my heart busting at the seems with happiness.
A few hours later after Renesmee has gotten a little rest, the Cullens all come to see Joplin and Tilly, along with part of Jake's pack...
Onyx is first through the door, bouncing with excited energy. Emmett catches him, explaining, "we have to be gentle buddy, the babies are brand new, and small." Okay, Daddy.." Onyx says easily, even calming down a little, and talking more quietly too.. "Can see the twins and my Reney now!? He asked making me and Jake chuckle. "Hi, Nyxy, are you ready to meet the babies? I ask softly,he nods "come sit with me, and I will introduce you.. this is my little boy, his name is Joplin, and this is my little girl, and her name is Tallulah, but we're going to call her Tilly kind of like we call you Nyxy. Nyx has an immediate Bond to Tilly, time will tell if it is an actual mate Bond, or if he is just simply enamored with my daughter, I would be more than happy if she wound up with someone like Nyx I can already tell he's going to be a kind and genuine person, after all what more could I want for my daughter and after all it will be totally up to them in the end, neither Jake nor I will ever get in the way of our children's happinesses..
When Tilly starts to cry a little bit later into our visit with the family, Onyx tries to comfort her by singing
I quickly realize that it's a song that I've sung for him, I sang this very song on the day I was taken, and I feel my eyes well, Jacob looks alarmed, so I quickly explained using my gift, after he understands he gives me a soft smile, wiping my eyes with his thumbs.. the family stays for only a few minutes after that, because Carlisle tells them I need to rest. After everyone takes turns cooing at the babies,they leave with Onyx, Rosalie and Emmett lingering a bit.. "Onyx I promise we'll see Reney and the babies soon, Mom and I need to get you home so you can eat dinner." Emmett explains patiently. Onyx sighs and reluctantly agrees.
Just a bit later, I'm in the nursery breastfeeding the twins, when Alec calls "Ren?!" "Nursery" I say knowing that he'll hear me fine, Alec comes in to the room looking nervous, before I can even ask Jake's bringing me some dinner,on a tray.. "good I need to talk with you both."
