Seoul Airport buzzed with activity as Kang Haerin and Lee Hyein dragged their suitcases behind them.

"Miss Kang, you're really not going to the company?" Hyein couldn't help but ask again.

"No, I'm going home. I need to sleep," Haerin replied, fatigue evident in her voice. After the exhausting business trip she had just endured, all she wanted was to relax at home.

"But the boss mentioned a meeting later this afternoon to follow up on the contract," Hyein said.

"That's your concern, not mine. I'm just the legal consultant. Once a contract is settled, my part is pretty much done," Haerin replied dismissively.

"But you were heavily involved in the negotiations. The company would really appreciate hearing your suggestions," Hyein persisted.

"Why are you even going to the meeting? You didn't participate in any of the negotiations. You should want to go home just as much as I do," Haerin complained. "After all these years following Minji, I'm amazed you're still so bright-eyed. With weekly business trips and back-to-back meetings, it's simply disgraceful."

"That's just part of the job. Remember the last time? The boss had to fly to Mexico. Thirteen hours in the air, two nights with no sleep, and the moment we landed, it was straight to the office to continue working," Hyein recounted.

"She even went on a business trip right after getting married. Can you believe that?" Haerin scoffed.

Hyein could only smile awkwardly in response.

The two soon exited the airport and waited at the entrance for the company car to arrive.

Haerin glanced down at the T&Co gift bag Hyein was carrying. "And you even bought a necklace for your boss."

"Yeah," Hyein conceded, a hint of resignation in her tone.

"Give it to me." Haerin casually reached for the bag.

"Huh?" Hyein was puzzled.

"Are you going to pass by her house before heading to the company?" Haerin asked, arching an eyebrow.

"What?"

"You know what the necklace is for," Haerin continued.

Hyein nodded silently. After so many years with Minji, there was no way she could be unaware.

"So if you want to pass it to me, I can give it directly to the Madam..." Haerin hadn't even finished her sentence when Hyein pushed the bag toward her.

With sincerity in her eyes, Hyein said, "Miss Kang, I'll be troubling you."

"It seems you also know your boss is a moron," Haerin remarked, giving Hyein a pointed look.

"Miss Kang, the car's here. I'll be going first." Hyein chuckled as she quickly placed her suitcase in the trunk, then dashed to jump into the car before it sped away.

"Hey... look at that thief." Haerin watched the rapidly retreating car, unable to suppress a scoff. With a resigned sigh, she flagged down a taxi and headed home.

After a week of rest, Hanni's cold had finally passed, and Minji returned to the office instead of working from home. After lunch, she planned to visit one of the cafes she managed. To call them businesses would be somewhat misleading, they were more like personal hobbies for her.

Hanni loved reading, but she found being alone at home isolating and the library too dull. The coffee shop provided the perfect environment, where soft music, the rich aroma of coffee, and the gentle hum of conversation created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Inspired by this, she decided to open her own cafe. Each location reflected her tastes, filled with her favorite books for everyone to enjoy. Profit was never her priority, instead, she focused on maintaining a quiet and peaceful ambiance. Each table had a decibel meter to ensure guests kept their voices down. In many ways, her coffee shops resembled personal study spaces rather than traditional cafes.
