Shuya's POV
"Lord Sesshomaru will you let your woman fight for you? You must not truly care for this human girl. It's a good thing you feel this way. Tell him Mayumi." Their confused expressions brought a smile to my lips. "I see. So you believed me to be dead and you moved right back into his arms. I'm hurt by your actions Mayumi."
There it is, that sad look in her eyes that made my heart ache. I guess she finally figured it out. I'm an enemy. "I don't care for riddles. Speak directly." Sesshomaru said stepping forward. "Well I'm sure the hickey on your supposed lovers neck should tell you how things truly are. Your not as smart as I thought you were. She practically ran into my arms you know."
Mayumi denied everything but when Sesshomaru pulled her collar he saw the hickey I gave her while she was under the sleep potion. It was all working out according to plan but Kagura's actions confused me. She too would benefit from this lovers quarrel. She was in love with this Lord Sesshomaru as well. So why did she try to save the girl from me? All these twist amused me.
It was good that I still had my head on straight cause I almost lost it. "Honestly you shouldn't throw swords at someone who is only telling you the truth." I have to admit this guy is pretty scary when he is angry. "Please Lord Sesshomaru he's lying! Don't fall for his schemes. This must be Naraku's doing!" The dog demon isn't going to hear you Mayumi look at his eyes. He's blinded by rage. "How can you deny the truth when it stares at him right in the face Mayumi? Give it up. Just come into my arms like you did last night. I'm the better lover after all."
She cried and begged him but he was too far gone. I'm sure he can feel his heart grow cold and empty. There is nothing but anger betrayal and rage left. It's a feeling I knew all too well. "Lord Sesshomaru—!!!" Mayumi tried to approach him once more but he whipped the ground before her causing her to stumbled backwards. Was he actually capable of harming her? "Silence. I won't hear another word from you. I knew these emotions I felt towards you were only getting in my way. How dare you try and make a fool of me!"
Her face contorted into horror and agony but she still refused to give up. "Please Sesshomaru, we were just growing closer. I know this looks bad but there has to be some explanation. Shuya please tell him the truth. Don't do this. I'll do what I can to help you escape Naraku. Just please tell Sesshomaru the truth. I love him you know that. Don't do this to me."
I did my best not to falter even though her words struck my heart head on. She was so passionate and full of fire. I want her for myself.

So I kissed her in front of him just to finish off the lie. I laced my lips with a love potion but...I felt my skin burning. I pulled away witnessing a light that burned stronger than anything I felt before. Her hands bursted this light towards me and I blocked it but it scorched everything in its path. "Hey there is no need to get so upset. You actually could have killed me."
Mayumi continued to user her powers on me at full force. I decided this was a good enough time to leave since Sesshomaru left after the little kiss I gave her. She should be fine by herself. They're only lowly demons besides me for miles. "Well I guess I should take my leave now Mayumi. You should try and catch up to your dog before you get abandoned." I left to report to Naraku with a pep in my step after stealing a kiss from Mayumi. Hopefully she won't hate me too long.
