Lila was annoyed

Lila was annoyed. She, Adrien, Luka, and Kagami went into Françoise Dupont together. Kagami, who would usually be attending her own prestigious private academy, surprisingly received some time off on the kindness of her mother. She joined them now, still wearing her red tie, white blazer uniform.

Adrien was looking at Lila sheepishly.

"Come on, Lilly, don't be like that," he said. "I don't like this either – but it was the only condition!"

Lila rolled her eyes.

"Don't worry about it too much, Lila," Luka calmly advised. "We're all here for you. Aren't we?"

Luka turned to Kagami, who nodded.

Lila wanted to roll her eyes but managed to hold it in. Her friends were genuinely trying to be helpful, no matter how cheesy they came off as. Gabriel had requested that Lila attend school up until the fashion show, apparently he doesn't want the media catching wind of the fact that his next star model was also a frequent absentee. It would apparently be bad for the company's reputation, or something.

Lila being at school would also give her the opportunity to try on the clothing, to make sure that they fit her and to make any alterations if needed.

The courtyard of Françoise Dupont was in a riot as they crossed through the doorway. The basketball court was covered with stalls and noisy pop-up booths. Students and visitors alike ate ice-cream and fairy floss, challenged themselves at ball toss game, or wasted money trying to win a prize at the soda toss.

"Hi!" an energetic girl said, popping out of nowhere. "Welcome to Françoise Dupont! Here's the itinerary, enjoy yourself!"

She shoved a colorful piece of paper at Kagami before moving on, to greet the party of guests who came after their group.

"'Françoise Dupont's Festa Bash'," Kagami read from the paper, holding it at arm's length as if it might be radioactive. "'Day One: Food and Games'. Day two would be the mini movie festival. Each classroom is going to be dedicated to a different genre. Buster is apparently hosting romantic-comedies, Mendeleiev is doing horror movies. The gym is booked for action and they're showing the latest Disney animated feature at the library."

"That actually sounds interesting," Lila said. "I'd rather do that than walk for a stupid fashion show."

"Day three, the last day, thank God," Kagami continued. "Is a – design contest? What? It's a fashion design contest where the contestants will be judged by Gabriel Agreste himself and the winner's design will be featured in his next show."

Lila blinked. Didn't the fashion contest episode already happen? At the beginning of Season 1? Was it a repeat? But from Adrien's bored expression, Gabriel Agreste doesn't seem to be bestowing an unfair amount of sartorial attention upon Françoise Dupont.

"That sounds interesting," Luka said. "Are you going to join?"

"Who are you asking?" Lila asked, turning to him. "Which one of us look capable of designing fashion to you?"
