Cal and Kara had barely caught their breath from the battle with Livewire when the Eradicator's voice echoed through the fortress.

"Cal, Kara, I have urgent news. Lois has gone into labor. I've taken the appearance of Clark Kent to ensure she gets to the hospital safely."

Kara's face lit up with concern and excitement. "I'll head there right away," she said, launching herself into the sky, breaking the sound barrier as she flew towards the hospital.

Cal nodded, ensuring Livewire was securely detained and handed over to the authorities. As he was about to take off towards the hospital himself, his communicator buzzed with an urgent call from Wonder Woman.

"Cal, we have a situation. A meteor is headed straight for Earth. We need your help to intercept it before it causes catastrophic damage."

Cal sighed deeply, the weight of his responsibilities bearing down on him. "Understood, Diana. I'll handle it," he replied, turning his gaze towards the heavens. With a powerful leap, he shot into the sky, heading towards space at incredible speed.

Kara arrived at the hospital in record time, her heart racing as she entered the maternity ward. She found Lois in a private room, breathing through the contractions with the Eradicator, still in the guise of Clark Kent, by her side.

"Lois, I'm here," Kara said, rushing to her side and taking her hand.

Lois smiled weakly, sweat glistening on her forehead. "Thanks, Kara. I knew you'd come."

The Eradicator nodded, maintaining his disguise perfectly. "It's important to stay calm. Everything is progressing as it should."

Kara nodded, providing emotional support to Lois, all the while silently praying for Cal's swift return.

High above Earth, Cal's eyes narrowed as he locked onto the incoming meteor. It was massive, a glowing behemoth hurtling towards the planet with terrifying speed. He adjusted his trajectory and accelerated, his body a blur as he intercepted the meteor's path.

With a mighty effort, Cal braced himself and collided with the meteor. The impact was immense, shaking him to his core, but he held his ground. Using his incredible strength, he began to push against the meteor, diverting its course away from Earth.

Gritting his teeth, Cal pushed harder, feeling the immense heat and pressure bearing down on him. Slowly but surely, he managed to alter the meteor's trajectory, sending it hurtling into the vast emptiness of space where it could do no harm.

Breathing heavily, Cal watched as the meteor disappeared into the void, a sense of relief washing over him. With his mission accomplished, he turned and flew back towards Earth at top speed, his mind focused on getting to the hospital.

Back at the hospital, Lois's labor was progressing rapidly. Kara stayed by her side, offering words of encouragement and comfort. The Eradicator remained vigilant, ensuring everything went smoothly.

Just as the situation seemed to reach its peak, the doors to the maternity ward burst open, and Cal strode in, his face etched with determination.

"I'm here, Lois," he said, moving to her side and taking her hand.

Lois looked up at him, tears of relief in her eyes. "Cal, you made it," she whispered.

"Of course," he replied softly. "I wouldn't miss this for the world."

With Kara and Cal by her side, Lois gave one final push, and the room was filled with the cries of a newborn. The doctor handed the baby to Lois, who cradled the tiny bundle in her arms, tears streaming down her face.

"It's a girl," the doctor announced, smiling warmly.

Lois and Cal looked at each other, their hearts swelling with love and pride. "Welcome to the world, little one," Cal whispered, gently touching the baby's cheek.

Kara watched the scene with a mixture of joy and bittersweet longing. She was happy for her family but couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness for the family she might never have.

The Eradicator, still in disguise, stepped back, observing the emotional reunion. He knew his role was done, at least for now.

As the night settled in, the new family shared a quiet moment together, their hearts full of hope and love. And though challenges still lay ahead, for this brief moment, everything was perfect.

The room was filled with a peaceful calm as Lois cradled her newborn daughter. Cal and Kara stood nearby, their expressions filled with awe and pride.

Lois looked up at Cal and Kara, a thoughtful expression on her face. “I think we should wait to name her until Clark's parents arrive,” she said softly. “I want them to be a part of this moment, especially since I want to name her after Martha.”

Cal nodded in agreement. “That’s a beautiful idea, Lois. They’ll be so touched.”

Kara smiled warmly, placing a gentle hand on Lois’s shoulder. “I’m sure they’ll be here soon. They wouldn’t miss this for the world.”

As they waited, Kara decided to use the time to bond with her new niece. She gently took the baby from Lois’s arms, her face lighting up with joy as she held the tiny bundle. “She’s perfect,” Kara whispered, rocking the baby gently.

The Eradicator, still in the guise of Clark Kent, discreetly stepped out of the room, giving the family their privacy. He knew the real Clark’s parents would be arriving shortly and wanted to ensure their arrival went smoothly.

Meanwhile, in Kansas, Martha and Jonathan Kent received the call they had been anxiously waiting for. Jonathan picked up the phone, and upon hearing the news, a broad smile spread across his face. “Lois had the baby!” he exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement.

Martha’s eyes widened with joy. “We need to get to Metropolis right away,” she said, already moving to gather her things.

They wasted no time in making their way to the airport, their hearts full of anticipation and happiness.

Back in Metropolis, Cal stepped out of the room briefly to check on the progress of Martha and Jonathan’s journey. He received a message that they were en route and would arrive within the hour.

Returning to the room, Cal shared the good news. “They’re on their way and should be here soon.”

Lois smiled, her eyes tired but filled with happiness. “That’s wonderful. I can’t wait to see their faces when they meet her.”

Time seemed to pass quickly as they waited. The baby, content in Kara’s arms, dozed peacefully. Cal and Lois shared quiet moments of conversation, their bond strengthened by the new life they had brought into the world.

Finally, there was a gentle knock on the door, and Martha and Jonathan Kent entered the room, their faces glowing with joy and excitement.

Martha’s eyes filled with tears as she saw her granddaughter for the first time. “She’s beautiful,” she whispered, moving to Lois’s side and gently taking the baby into her arms.

Jonathan stood beside her, his smile wide and proud. “Welcome to the family, little one.”

Lois looked at Cal, then back at Martha and Jonathan. “We’ve been waiting for you to name her,” she said softly. “We want to name her Martha, after you.”

Martha’s eyes welled up with tears, and she hugged Lois gently. “That’s the most wonderful gift you could give us,” she said, her voice choked with emotion.

Jonathan placed a hand on Cal’s shoulder, giving him a proud and grateful nod. “You’ve made us so happy.”

The room was filled with love and joy as the family gathered around the newest member. They took turns holding baby Martha, sharing stories, and making memories that would last a lifetime.

Kara stood back, watching the scene with a smile. She felt a renewed sense of hope and purpose, knowing that the legacy of the House of El was in good hands.

As night fell, the family settled into a comfortable silence, each of them filled with a deep sense of contentment. And for baby Martha, the world was already a brighter place because of the love that awaited her.
