4-Draco out of the closet

Draco Pov

I woke up in the morning. I looked over and saw Mae hugging my pillow still fast asleep. I looked at the time my mother would be heading over to wake me up soon. So, I got up anyway. I pulled the covers over Mae and made my way to the dining room where my parents were eating.

"Good morning dear." my mother said to me as I pulled out my chair at the table.

"Morning Mother" I said with a smile. "Father." I gave my father a nod. As I sat down in my chair.

"How did you and Mae sleep? You talked late into the night." mother said to me as a house elf placed my breakfast in front of me.

"I slept well. I don't know about Mae, I let her sleep when I woke up. We did talk quite late into the night." I spoke, keeping my head down thinking about last night's conversation topics. Specifically harry.

"Something you'd like to tell us, Draco?" my father spoke up and asked me. I took a nervous gulp of my Pumpkin Juice. "I'll take your nerves as a yes then." he raised his eyebrow with a dull but knowing tone.

"Oh. uhm." Thankfully before I could continue Mae walked in.

"What are we talking about?" she asked as she sat down next to me.

"Draco was just about to tell us something." my father told her

"Oh cool. What is it?" Mae asked curiously. I looked at her hoping she would get what it was. "Oh...!" Her eyes opened wide with realization "OHHHH" and there it was she knew what it was. 

"Yeah." I looked at her with my head down. Not entirely wanting to say anything.

"I'm here for you, dray. You got this." she whispered in her ear. "You don't have to if you're not ready."

I just smiled at her. It's not something I want to do. but how am i supposed to know if they will still love me if I don't tell them. "I have to"

She held my hand tight as I looked at my parents preparing to tell them

"Mom...Dad I uh... I'm" my heart was racing my breathing quickened "I don't think I can do this Mae" I whispered to her.

She nodded, "I can tell them if it would be easier." I knew she said it to comfort me, but I nodded yes asking her to tell them. Even if I knew it was cowardly. "Ok."

She stood up and spoke fast trying to get it over with as fast as possible. "Lucius. Nissa. Your son is Gay." She and I both let out a large breath. But I then drew my breath back in fear waiting for my parents to respond.

"Ok... And?" my mother said with a shrug of her shoulders.

"Wait, you're not mad?" I asked concerned, wondering if these really are my parents.

"Honestly Draco it's obvious." my dad said. "With how obsessed are you with Potter? I mean if we are going to be disappointed by anything it's that you like Potter. But I'll get over it." he said very casually, taking a bite of his eggs.

"I a wh you so wa bu and so" I was so taken back I was basically speechless. "Really?"

"My Dear, we don't care if you're gay." my mom said

Mae Pov

Breakfast was easy. I knew his parents wouldn't care. The rest of the day was easy. We had fittings for my dress and my Bridal party had fittings as well. We were reading a book silently when Nissa walked in

"So Darling, are you going to ask Harry to go with you to the wedding? Nissa asked as she sat next to us grabbing the book from my hands

"I'm Going to make him." I laughed as I gave Dray a little nudge. And we all laughed a little bit. And eventually we got harry on the Phone.

"Hey Harry!! Ok so Draco has a question for you!" I told Harry over the phone as I handed it to Draco oh Speaker.

"Okay." Harry said.

"Hi Harry..." Draco said I could tell he had nerves from his voice.

"Hi Draco so what's the question?

"I um. Wanted to ask you something."

"Ok, go for it."

"So... um You know how Mae's getting married?"

"Yes, I'm aware..."

"Well. Harry, I wanted to ask you."

"What is it? Cuz, I want to ask you something too."

"Really? Wait, what did you want to ask me?"

"No no you go first."

"Oh um. Ok. so, harry. Um. ok ill spit it out. Um Harry, will you go to Mae's wedding with me?"

"Wh- as like a date?"

"Yes."

"Then yes."

"Wait really?"

"Yes, I was actually going to ask you the same thing."

"Wait actually?"

"Yes"

"Ok that's. I can't wait!"

"Me either"

"Okay Great."

"Great"

"See you then."

"Yes, see you then."

"Ok we'll. Goodbye Harry.

"Goodbye Draco"

They hung up the phone and we all sat in silence for a second before I stood up fast, grabbed Draco's hands, pulled him up and started Fangirl Scream jumping.
