We Meet Again

Time for a break from the angst, woo :DD!

Scott's Perspective-

Scott ran out of the castle, tears forming in his eyes.

He sighed, feeling betrayed.

I thought he could be stronger. He thought, shaking a bit. Guess I was wrong.

Scott walked around the snowy forest and his eyes widened as he discovered a flower field.

"Woah..." He whispered breathlessly.

He was nearing House Blossom, so it made sense why this beautiful flower field was here. It was warmer than in Rivendell, so the flowers had a chance to flourish.

He was about to escape Rivendell to the forest when he heard someone call his name.

Scott turned around and saw Jimmy waving at him.

"Jimmy? What are you doing here?" Scott asked as Jimmy jogged over to him.

"I'm here with my dad. He has a trade with your father."

"Oh- cool."

"Yeah! So how're you doing? It's been a bit since we last spoke." Jimmy said, smiling.

Scott giggled and Jimmy blushed.

"What? What's so funny?" Jimmy asked, tilting his head.

"Nothing, it's just...your smile. I find it cute." Scott smiled and Jimmy blushed.

"H-heh, thanks. But it's nothing compared to yours."

Now it was Scott's turn to blush, and he turned away to try and hide it.

"So where are you headed?" Jimmy asked.

"Hm? Oh, I just found this." Scott said, motioning to the flowers behind him.

Jimmy's eyes widened and he gasped.

"Woah, that's gorgeous."

Scott nodded in agreement.

"Come on!" Jimmy grabbed Scott's hand and they ran in the field together.

"How are you so patient?" Jimmy asked and Scott giggled, making a flower crown.

"I'm just more skilled than you." He smiled and Jimmy rolled his eyes.

"I hate you." Jimmy muttered.

Scott giggled and Jimmy stuck out his tongue.

"Come on, let me show you how to dance." Scott said, holding out a hand.

Jimmy blushed and their hands connected as Scott helped him up.

"Alright so my hand goes on your shoulder and your right hand goes on my waist." Scott explained, both him and Jimmy blushing.

Jimmy did as told and their left hands came together, holding each other tightly.

Scott smiled up at Jimmy and he flushed red, looking away.

Scott giggled, "Sorry, is this too close for you?"

"N-no, I...I like it." Jimmy smiled and Scott blushed.

"Scott? You okay?"

Scott snapped back and looked at Jimmy. He had been lost in thought and didn't notice that he had just frozen and not responded. They were sitting in the field of flowers and Jimmy was skipping stones in the little river.

"Wha-? Oh my cod, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to- "

"No, no, it's okay." Jimmy said, smiling softly as he put his hand on Scott's shoulder.

Scott blushed a bit and he looked down, sighing.

"Sorry. Things have just been...hard." Scott said, taking his flower crown and fidgeting with it.

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

Scott made eye contact with Jimmy, and he slowly shook his head.

"I'm sorry, I...can't. It's a family thing."

"Oh, it's okay. I hope things get better for you."

"Thanks...I do too." Scott whispered.

"Well if you ever wanna chat, I'm open."

Scott smiled, "I really appreciate it. I needed to hear that."

"We all need someone. So I can be there for you."

"Like as a boyfriend, or...?" Scott asked teasingly.

Jimmy flushed red and he laughed, scratching the back of his neck.

"I- I mean, it doesn't have to...if you don't want it to...I wouldn't mind but- oh cod I'm so embarrassed." Jimmy hid his blushing face in his hands.

Scott giggled and pulled Jimmy's hands away from his face.

"Don't be embarrassed, it was cute."

Jimmy blushed, "You find me cute?"

Scott blushed as well and he looked down, "I- I mean...yeah." He whispered, watching as his fingers intertwined with Jimmy's.

"...I think you're cute as well." Jimmy whispered.

Scott smiled at Jimmy; both of their cheeks flushed red.

"Jimmy, I- "

"James! James, where are you?"

Jimmy and Scott both jumped as they heard Jimmy's father searching for his son.

Jimmy sighed, "Sorry, I have to go."

"O-oh, okay." Scott forced himself to smile.

Jimmy stood up but before he left, Scott grabbed his hand.

Jimmy turned around and Scott leaned in.

"Can I do one thing before you go?" Scott whispered.

Jimmy flushed red and he nodded, unable to form words.

Scott smiled and gently kissed Jimmy, his hands cupping Jimmy's face.

Their eyes fluttered close as they stayed in the moment of bliss a second longer.

Jimmy leaned back and he smiled, blushing.

Scott giggled and let go of Jimmy.

"I'll write to you later, alright?" Jimmy said, and Scott nodded.

Jimmy winked and left Scott alone with his racing heart.

Scott sighed contently, falling into the colorful field of flowers.

For once he felt all his worries lift off his shoulders. It seemed like everything would be okay.

I've been meaning to write some fluff to break up all the angst, so here it is :DD
