"Wait if you're my sister doesn't that mean that my mom Jocelyn is your" Clary started to ask when Kelsey interrupted.
"No, no, my mother is dead but before she died all she ever called me was an abomination so I'm your half-sister we're related by Valentine" Kelsey said.
"Wait did Valentine kill your" Clary started to ask when Kelsey interrupted.
"My mother she was a werewolf of course he did and then when he realized that I was both shadowhunter and werewolf I spent nearly all my childhood being tested on seeing what else I could do it didn't matter if I screamed for him to stop, he didn't care all he cared about was how he had a weapon not a daughter a weapon" Kelsey said. "How did you finally escape" Clary asked.
"I ran when I was sure he was asleep along with his followers knowing no one would notice I was gone till the next morning I ran, I ran as far as I could not daring to stop til I was away from that monster" Kelsey said.
"And as I ran, I bumped into someone who was on his way to his club my dad" Kelsey added.
"Magnus" Clary said. "He took me in raised me as his own he's more my dad than Valentine ever was I even told him what I was and instead of calling me an abomination or testing me to see what I can do he was there for me he was a dad he fed me we had dance parties he told me that I wasn't a abomination I don't come close if anything I was something purely amazing they a lot of people don't understand cause their too scared to accept something that they don't understand he's my dad not Valentine" Kelsey said as Clary listened.
"So do me a favor Clary and don't look for any redeeming qualities in Valentine he has none" Kelsey said and left.

"Kels it was a lot to take in you needed time" Alec said. "Yeah maybe" Kelsey said.
"Well, I guess we should go meet up with Izzy or get some training" Kelsey said leaving as Alec sighed before following her.

"Yeah" Jace told them. "What took you guys so long" Jace asked. "Funny I was gonna ask you the same thing" Alec said. "It's complicated" Jace said.
"We found the cup" Clary said. "The cup" Kelsey said. "Yeah, but then we lost it we have to sneak back in the precinct to get it" Clary said.
"This is a disaster" Alec said. "Hey demon pox is a disaster this is an inconvenience we just need a plan that's all" Jace said. "Right cause those are so easy" Kelsey said sarcastically.
"What about a glamour" Izzy asked. "We tried that anyone working with Valentine will see right through it" Jace said.
"Can we ask Kelsey's dad to portal us inside" Clary asked.
"He's already done so much for us he doesn't need to be in any more involved than he already this let's just try to leave him out of it please besides it wouldn't help anyways" Kelsey said.
"Magnus can only portal us to places he's been to before" Izzy said. "Not again" Clary said looking at her caller ID when her phone started ringing.
"Just give me a second" Clary said answering the phone walking away.
"Okay we don't have time to wait anyone have a plan" Kelsey asked.
