"How'd it, go with Aldertree" Alec asked once Magnus and Kelsey made their way to him.
"Well, the man didn't disappoint in his own charming inimitable way he informed that I will indeed be punished but the form of punishment is yet to be decided" Magnus said.
"All for trying to save my life" Alec said. "If I didn't my little girl would never be the same, she'd be a wreck" Magnus said.
"Dad" Kelsey said. "And that's my cue" Magnus said and left.
"Hey Kels" Alec said and Kelsey looked at him. "Yeah Alec" Kelsey said. "Jace may have been the one who pulled me out, but I did feel you there" Alec said to Kelsey.
"Well, you know I'd never leave you" Kelsey said. "I know and thank you" Alec said. "Don't thank me just keep staying alive" Kelsey said.
"Got it" Alec said. "Kels look um I know that with everything that's been going on I, we haven't had a chance to" Alec said. "Go on that first date we never had" Kelsey said.
"Right yes" Alec said. "I know a great place in SoHo it has the best lamb kebab this side of Marrakesh or I can ask my dad to portal us to Marrakesh" Kelsey said.
"You hungry" Kelsey asked him. "Starving" Alec said, and Kelsey smiled. "Hey Alec, Kelsey" Raj said and Alec and Kelsey faced him.
"Demon briefing in the ops center all hands, on deck" Raj said.
"Hmm not even a scratch" Kelsey said looking at Raj and Raj left. "Raincheck" Kelsey asked Alec.
"Yea yeah" Alec told her. "Is that okay" he asked her. "Of course, it is, now come on we have demons to fight" Kelsey said leaving and Alec followed her.

"Demon attack downtown" Izzy said making her way to Clary and Jocelyn with Alec and Kelsey.
"One mundane dead" Kelsey said. "And we don't have Jace so you're with us" Alec told Clary.
"Wait you want me on your team" Clary asked. "It's not my first choice but we're a man down and everyone else is on patrol gear up" Alec said. He then grabbed Kelsey's hand and left with her.

"Clary, Kelsey, and I will widen the perimeter" Alec said. "Let's just do it quick I get grumpy when I'm hungry" Kelsey said.
"Hey Fray, we got a demon to hunt come on" Alec said grabbing Kelsey's hand leaving with her and Clary quickly followed.
"Most important thing don't slow me down you slow me down you get us both killed along with Kelsey the most important person in my life" Alec said.
"Sounds reasonable" Clary said and Alec drew a rune, on Clary's hand. "What's this for" Clary asked.
"Lets you see the demons heat signature" Kelsey said. "Whoa" Clary said once it started to work.
"First time can be sensory overload the trick is to focus" Alec said. "Try to filter out everything unimportant hone, in, on the heat signature" Kelsey said.
"Yeah, I'm honing I'm just not seeing anything" Clary said. "Patience" Alec said. "Easy for you to say" Clary told Alec.
"For someone who hasn't been training her whole life this stuff is impossible" Clary said.
