Today was battle training and Pyrrha was showing why she is a strong opponent as she was reverse jumping team CDRL with some ease. Ruby and Yang look at it with excitement, Blake is reading a book? Y/N and Chad look at Pyrrha fighting style and are honestly impressed. They are impressed by her reflexes and adaptability in the middle of the battle.

Pyrrha finish her fight and Glynda walk next to her.
Glynda: Well done, Miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament.
Pyrrha: Thank you, professor.
Glynda tap something on the screen of her scroll.
Glynda: Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow but we have time for one more sparring match.
Glynda look around to select a student.
Glynda: Any volunteers ? Miss Belladonna.

Before Pyrrha could get a chance to say that she was fine to fight Mercury, he choose to shot his chance with another fighter.
Mercury: Then, the black hair over there, I wanna fight him.
Y/N rise his eyebrowns in surprise, but comply and go in the arena.
He take his badge and activate his fullbring, while Mercury take a fighting stance.

The sparring start with Mercury going for a kick but is knock down by Y/N who swept his leg. Recovering quickly, he rush at him and begins to trade blows with Y/N, who block most of Mercury's kicks with his flame-like sword or left forearm. Whole blocking all those blows Y/N noticed a strange sound coming from his opponent legs.
Y/N:" What's that noise ? It sounds like metal."
Deep in his thoughs Y/N didn't noticed the kick, didn't manage to block it, but decide to parrying it instead by putting his sword in from of him, the kick is strong enough to make Y/N slide away.
