Chapter 30: Masquerade

R_B_, Orihime, Y/N and Chad are watching Yang and Weiss fighting against Flynt and Neon. Noen roast Yang non-stop calling her heavy top and such.

Ruby: Oh no.

Y/N: Pfft ! Heavy top, hahaha !

Ruby turn her head and glare at Y/N who immediatly shut up. Chad and Orihime found interesting that Flynt basically use music to fight. blake is about worried about her friends.

The battle continued is beaten by Flynt but in a desesperate attempt tackled him in a geyser, disqualifying her, but her attempt didn't work well as he still had his aura. Yang is now alone fighting two opponent.

Ruby: You can do it sis !

Yang still manage to fight both of them, going for Flynt as he barely had an aura left. Meanwhile Y/N noticed that Pyrrha wasn't next to Jaune like usual. This make him rise an eyebrown curious of where pyrrha was, she barely leaves Jaune's side in general. While deep in thought Y/N didn't notice that Yang manage to win her fight against Flynt and is now taking care of Neon.

Meanwhile Pyrrha was in Ozpin's office, looking at the headmaster.

Ozpin: It is no surprise that they have chosen you to go on to the finals. If your performance has any exemplary.

Pyrrha: Thank you, Professor Ozpin, but I would never made it this far without my teammates.

Qrow: Personally, I think it's the other way around.

Pyrrha took offense at this and turn to Qrow.

Pyrrha: I'm sorry, but I believe we haven't been introduced.

Qrow: Name's Qrow.

Ozpin: Qrow is a trusted collegue of mine.

Pyrrha: Professor, if you don't mind me asking why have you brought me here ?

Ozpin: Please take a sit.

She does what Ozpin told her and sit.

Ozpin: So, what is your favorite fairy tale ?

Pyrrha: I'm sorry ?

Ozpin: Fairytales, stories from you childhood, surely you must remember some of them ?

Pyrrha: Well, the tale of the two brothers, The shallow sea-

Ozpin: What about the story of the seasons ?

Pyrrha: Oh, I know that one. 'A calluse old man who refuse to leave his home is visted by four traveling sisters. The first understand his reclusive nature and urge him to stay indoors and meditate. The second brings him fruits and flowers and tending his crops and revitalising his garden. The third warms the man's heart and encourages the man to come outside and embrace the world around him. The fourth and final sister tells him to look at all he has and be thankful. In return for thirs kindness the man gives the maidens incredible powers so that they may help others all around the world. They graciously accepted and promise to share theirs gift with Remnant till the end of days. Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. The four maidens'. My mother love this story.

Ozpin: Would you believe me If I told you that one is around since I was a boy ?

Pyrrha: You're not that old professor.

Ozpin: Well, would you believe me If this was true ?

Pyrrha: I beg your pardon ?

Ozpin: What If I told you that there are four maidens out there wielding tremendous powers, without dust.
