Chapter 29: Black Moon & Gentle Giant

Y/N is walking alone, deep in his thoughts, until he bump into someone. The person turn her back, and see Y/N she gain a nervous smile.

Yang: H-Hey, Y/N. What are you doing here ?

Y/N notice Yang nervousness and Ruby complete silence. He knew that he look like shit right now, but they didn't make any comment about seeing him all battered.

Y/N: Uh, a few... Problems.

Suddenly he his brain actually start working and piece things together, he look behind him, then Yang and Ruby. The three are at the opposite of theirs dorms, and the sisters are going in the same direction as him.

Why are they here ?

He frown, making a complicated face.

Y/N:... What did you see ?

Yang: S-See what ? We didn't see anything !

Y/N: You're stuttering, and Ruby didn't say a word since the begining.

Yang: Weeeeelllll-

Y/N: You spy on me, isn't ?

Ruby/Yang:....Yes.

Y/N: You saw that thing then....

Yang: That's-maybe ?

Both sisters are fidgeting awkwardly as they didn't knew If they could trust Y/N correctly after seeing that. They valued Y/N as a friend but they don't know If he could be trusted on the battlefield. If he lose control the damage could be significant for theirs Team.

Y/N: Judging by how you act, I can tell what you are thinking.

Ruby: No, wait !

Y/N walk away, leaving the sisters alone. Ruby hang her low in guilt. Both were curious, but this time theirs curiosity did more harm than good. The little red hood find a new resolve and run to find Y/N, to at least try to apologise.

Y/N can  be seen seating alone on the roof, looking at the horizon. Night has already fall, while a nice breeze flow in the air. The broken moon has his only friend. He wanted to be alone. 

Y/N: Grimmification... I'm like those things ?... It's disgusting...

White: What did you call me ?!

Y/N start holding his head with one hand. His left scelera becoming black.

Y/N: Shut up...

White: Let me fight ! Let me move ! We can be the Boss here ! Why are stopping yourself ?

Y/N: Shut up ! I don't need you ! Get.Out !

White: Very well, but be careful to not get yourself killed... Or else, I will be there.

Y/N:........

Y/N put his head in his two hands. He was lost, he didn't know how to deal with this. He couldn't brute force it, he couldn't resolve it like a math exam. At this moment, he felt like it was out of his reach. The door of the roof top open without even him noticing.

A voice call Y/N, barely above a whisper.

Ruby: Y/N.

Y/N !

He turn his head to see Ruby standing a few meters behind him, looking a bit awkward. She actually didn't know how to handle what was going on, however, she is willing to try, willing to help Y/N the best she could. 

Y/N: What do you want ?

Ruby wasn't use to his tone, it is harsh and tired. She needed to go straight to the point, no jokes. Taking a few steps closer to him, she crouch in front of him to be at the same eye level.
