Chapter 10: House of Horrors

Corrupted Gengar shoots a Shadow ball at the two
They both dodge to the side
Incineroar: We have to find its weakness to get rid of its Corrupted Shield!
Blastoise observes Corrupted Gengar and realizes Incineroar was right, the thick, black, Corrupted tar-like liquid was protecting it
Blastoise: Alright! Keep him busy, I'll have a look around!
Incineroar nods as Blastoise runs off to look for weapons or supplies
Corrupted Gengar laughs
Corrupted Gengar: Splitting up was your first mistake, cat!!
Corrupted Gengar uses Dark Pulse
Incineroar dodges it and fires back a Flamethrower
Coruppted Gengar is hit and stunned
Incineroar keeps Gengar busy...
Blastoise looks around the house
He couldn't find anything that could be useful against Gengar
He eventually came across a Flashlight in the kitchen on the other side of the house
Blastoise picks it up
Blastoise: This probably won't do anything, but it's all we got!
Blastoise runs back to Gengar and Incineroar
Incineroar is having no trouble keeping Gengar busy and stunned with attacks
Blastoise flashes the light on Gengar
Corrupted Gengar screeches in pain as his Corrupted Shield melts away
Corrupted Gengar: *Growls* You'll pay for that!!
Incineroar blasts Corrupted Gengar with a Fire Blast from behind him
Corrupted Gengar💙💙95%💙💙
Corrupted Gengar is burned
Corrupted Gengar💙💙90%💙💙
Blastoise uses Hydro Pump on Gengar
Corrupted Gengar gets blasted into a wall with extreme speed due to Blastoises power
Corrupted Gengar💙💙75%💙🖤
Corrupted Gengar is no longer burned
Corrupted Gengar falls down to the ground and picks himself back up
Corrupted Gengar: God, you're strong. You'll be irritating
Corrupted Gengar dissappears
Incineroar: What the?! Where'd he go?!
Corrupted Gengars laugh echoes through the house as the lights flicker aggressively
Corrupted Gengar: Come find me😉 *giggles*
Blastoises flashlight turns off
He checks the batteries to see they have been taken
Blastoise: Hmph. So that's how he wants to play it? Fine by me.
Blastoise loads his water cannons
Blastoise: Let's move, Incineroar
Incineroar: *nods and grins* Right!
Blastoise and Incineroar search for the batteries
Suddenly, a Corrupted Ghastly and Haunter minon appear
Blastoise blasts the Ghastly and Haunter as they dissappear and drop the batteries
Blastoise: Ha! Too easy.
Blastoise loads the batteries into the flashlight and continues looking for Corrupted Gengar
As they were walking, they quickly became very cold
Blastoise: Strange. Why did the temperature change so fast?
Incineroar: Yeah that was weird
They move back slightly to find its way warmer
Incineroar: Is this a clue or hint of some kind?
Corrupted Gengars laughs echoes throughout the house, though this time it's slightly quieter
Then it clicks it Blastoises head
Blastoise: It's hot and cold! It must be part of Gengars game! The hotter it is, the closer we are and the colder it is, the farther we are!
Incineroar: Smart! Let's head this way then!
The two go back the way they came
The temperature gets cold once they past the stairs
Blastoise: Looks like we're going up
Incineroar nods as the two follow the temperature into a room
Blastoise and Incineroar start getting really hot by a closet
Blastoise readies his Water Cannons as he whips open the door and flashes his light into the closet
Corrupted Gengar is revealed and his shield is melted away
Corrupted Gengar: Guess your not all bronze, big guy. Pretty clever. You're the first challengers to get that.
Blastoise: And I'll make sure we're the last
Blastoise blasts Corrupted Gengar with a Hydro Pump but Gengar teleports with a poof of purple dust behind them and blasts Incineroar with a Shadow Ball
Incineroar❤❤40%💔💔
Blastoise goes in with a Aqua Punch, but Corrupted Gengar dodges to the side and blasts Blastoise with a Dark Pulse
Blastoise❤❤90%❤❤
Incineroar scorches Corrupted Gengar with a Blast Burn
Corrupted Gengar💙💙50%🖤🖤
Corrupted Gengar: *Groans in pain* Ugh.....
Incineroar falls and kneels down on one leg from being lightheaded from the power of the move
Blastoise: Incineroar!
Blastoise rushes over to Incineroar and helps him up
Incineroar puts his claw on his head
Incineroar: Oof...thanks, man
Blastoise pats Incineroars back
Blastoise: Take it easy, pal
Incineroar nods when Gengar starts laughing, sounding more and more insane
Corrupted Gengar gets up
Corrupted Gengar: You know, you two are REALLY starting to bother me...
The two get ready to fight
Corrupted Gengar: IM FINISHING THIS NOW!!
Corrupted Gengar jumps up and punches the wooden floor, shattering it as all three plumet down at least 50 feet down into what looks to be an old basement
Blastoise and Incineroar were able to avoid taking damage
Corrupted Gengar: THERES NOWHERE TO HIDE!!!
Blastoise and Incineroar get up
Blastoise heart drops as he realizes his flashlight is broken
Blastoise: Damn it! We'll have to find another one
Incineroar: Right!
They hear Corrupted Gengar walking towards them
Blastoise: Quick! Hide!
Blastoise and Incineroar dive behind a brown dusty old table
Corrupted Gengar: NOW IM THE SEEKER!! *laughs maniacally*
The two creep forward and past Gengar as they search for a light
Blastoise searches some drawers
He finds a Flashlight
Blastoise: Yes!
Blastoise excitement quickly turns to shock as he realizes, of course, the Flashlight isn't charged
Incineroar: We'll have to find some batteries
Blastoise tries to open the Flashlight to see if it has a battery in it so they only needed to find one, but it wouldn't budge
Incineroar: What? You can't open it??
Blastoise inspects the Flashlight
Blastoise: This one is charged by something else. Looks like it's some kind of electric Flashlight. We'll have to find an electric charger of some kind
Incineroar: *nods* Right!
They see Corrupted Gengar coming back towards them
Blastoise: He's going to make this difficult...
Incineroar: Hmmm....
Incineroar looks around a finds a stray pipe lying in front of him to his left, kind of slanted
He grabs it and chucks it on the other far side of the room
Corrupted Gengars ears perk up as he turns away from Blastoise and Incineroar to look at where the noise came from
Corrupted Gengar has a sinister and bloodthirsty grin on his face
Corrupted Gengar: BETTER START RUNNING!
Corrupted Gengar flies straight towards the noise while the other two continue on, heading towards the back of the room
Incineroar: Wait, I think I see the charger at the end of the room!
Incineroar points to a black and skinny object on a table ahead of them
Blastoise: Nice! Let's finish this.
Incineroar nods as they head to the charger
They arrive and put the flashlight in the charger, but nothing happens
Incineroar: What?!
Blastoise thinks for a moment and notices the cord
He picks it up and while he's holding it, he feels the cord slide towards him a little bit
Blastoise: This isn't plugged in. Watch my back. I'm gonna plug it back in
Incineroar smiles and gives a thumbs up as he turns around and stands his ground, fighting first and talking later as Blastoise heads to the plug
Corrupted Gengar: YOU CANT HIDE FOREVER!!!
Corrupted Gengar heads towards Incineroar, but hasn't spotted him
Incineroar ducks behind the table and looks for a distraction
There's another pipe, but it's farther away and there's a good chance Corrupted Gengar will see him
Corrupted Gengar was getting close
Incineroar made a gutsy decision and hopped over the table charging a Fire Blast before launching it at him
Corrupted Gengar was stunned from the attack
Corrupted Gengar: Got guts, don't ya, kitty?
Incineroar growls and challenges Corrupted Gengar with his claw
Corrupted Gengar used Dark Pulse on Incineroar
Incineroar dodges to the side and combos Corrupted Gengar with a Fire Pledge, Flamethrower and Blast Burn
Corrupted Gengar is knocked out
Incineroar falls to the ground
Blastoise gets to the outlet and plugs the charger in before making his way back to the flashlight and charger
Flashlight is charging, ⚡20%⚡
Incineroars big attack bought time for the Flashlight to fully charge
Flashlight is fully charged! ⚡100%⚡
Blastoise grabs the flashlight and melts away Corrupted Gengars last bit of Corrupted Shield
Corrupted Gengar screeches in pain
Blastoise goes to Incineroar while Corrupted Gengar is stunned
Blastoise: You ok, pal??🥺
Incineroar gets to his feet
Incineroar: Yeah! Don't worry about me😁 I'm perfectly fine💪
Blastoise smiles and chuckles
Blastoise: Of course you are😅
The two smile and laugh with with each other before Corrupted Gengar starts to get up
Corrupted Gengar: *panting* You two are making this way harder than it needs to be...
Blastoise: Same here, bud. You're not gonna win. Just give us your gem
Corrupted Gengar looks down as if he's thinking about it, but the two know he's up to something
Corrupted Gengar begins to laugh
His laugh gets louder
And louder
And louder to the point where it just sounds like he's screaming
Corrupted Gengar: *Growls loudly* JUST DIE!!
A whirling wind of purple smoke surrounds Corrupted Gengar
It completely consumes him
His illuminated Shadow could be seen through the smoke, getting bigger and transforming into something big...
Purple Beams shoot out of the smoke cloud before exploding and revealing the monster
Gengar was now a Mega Corrupted Gengar
It all came down to this...
