Chapter 9: Electric Personality

Malaya and Cinderace arrive in a pleasant little park with a bright brown dirt path, beautiful green trees, and fresh green grass with birds of all kinds singing in the trees in the distance
The sun is shining bright and the sky is bright blue without a single cloud in the sky
Malaya: Wow! This is beautiful! I expected something horrible or something
Cinderace: Yeah same here! But I suppose it makes sense. Boltunds an electric dog that loves to run like any other dog and this is where you would find a Boltunds pre evolved form, Yamper.
Malaya: Oh, cool! Is it cute?
Cinderace: Oh yeah. It looks like a little fluffy yellow, brown, and white corgi
Malaya: Awwwwww🥺 Maybe I can ask Gray to add one to the team
Cinderace: Good idea! Now, where's that Boltund?
The two look around
Before long, Malaya spots it
Malaya points
Malaya: There!
Cinderace turns to see the Corrupted Boltund sleeping under the shade of a tree
Cinderace rubs her chin
Cinderace: Hmmm. Not sure how to tackle this
Malaya: Well, It'll probably be pretty mad if we wake it up. Maybe we should just till it wakes up?
Cinderace: That could work. Boltunds an electric type, so it shouldn't sleep for long
Malaya nods but then looks shocked
Cinderace: What's wrong?
Malaya: Where's...the Boltund??
Cinderace looks at the tree and sees Boltund had vanished
Cinderace: Shit! It could be anywhere!
Just then, they heard a low growling from behind them
Suddenly, they knew where the Boltund was...
The Boltund pounced on Cinderace
Malaya: Cinderace!
Malaya tried to attack the Boltund with her Staff, but to no avail...
Cinderace struggles vigorously, kicking and punching, but the Boltund is not affected as it goes to bite at Cinderaces neck
In a last ditch effort, Cinderace grabbed some of the dirt and small rocks from the dirt oath they were on and threw it and Boltunds eyes
Boltund backed off of Cinderace and screeched in pain as Cinderace jumped to her feet, Malaya standing beside her, ready to fight
Boltund got the dirt out of it's eye and roared at the two
Corrupted Boltund tackled Cinderace to the ground again
It was charging up a Thunder Fang to put into Cinderaces neck when Malaya blasted the Boltund with a Moonblast, knocking it off of Cinderace

Cinderace jumped up and launched a powerful Pyro Ball at Boltund with extreme speed

Corrupted Boltund launched a Thunderbolt at Cinderace, knocking her off her feet

Corrupted Boltund uses Thunder on Malaya
Malaya dodges to the side and blasts Corrupted Boltund with a Fire Blast

Cinderace gets up
Cinderace fires another Pyro Ball into the smoke cloud that Boltund has been consumed by from all the heavy attacks

Corrupted Boltund howls, getting rid of the smoke and applying his Corrupted Shield
Cinderace: That Corrupted stuff seems to be protecting him. We have to figure out how to get rid of it
Malaya: Well, the dirt worked. Maybe try that again?
Cinderace: Oh yeah good idea!
Cinderace grabs some grains of dirt
Corrupted Boltund bolts toward Cinderace with extreme speed with a Wild Charge

Corrupted Boltund takes itself and Cinderace far away
Malaya: Cinderace!!
Malaya follows the two as fast as she can
Corrupted Boltund charges Cinderace through a tree and Cinderace rolls and bounces on the ground

Cinderace rolls to her feet and gets ready to fight
Cinderace: Let's go, little doggy😉
Corrupted Boltund roars and uses Thunder on Cinderace
Cinderace rolls to the side and strikes Boltund hard with a Blaze Kick

Corrupted Boltund lept at Cinderace with a Thunder Fang
Cinderace flipped backward into a handstand and retracted her arms slightly to be under Boltund and then she thrusted them out, kicking Boltund in the belly and high into the air with both her feet

Just before Boltund hits the ground, Cinderace used Flare Blitz on Corrupted Boltund, knocking it off a cliff and it crashes hard onto the ground

Cinderace is hit to the ground by recoil and suffers damage from it

Cinderace: *Grunts in pain weakly* I should've considered that would damage me a bit heheh...
Cinderace struggles to her feet and looks over the edge to check on Boltund
Boltund was stunned from the blow
Cinderace made her way down the cliff safely with some dirt in her hands
She made her way to Corrupted Boltund
Corrupted Boltund was still down, but still alive with another Corrupted coat of shield
Cinderace planted another bit of dirt in Boltunds eye
Boltund roared and screeched in pain as it viciously scrambled on the ground
Boltunds shield had shattered
Boltund got to its feet and stared at Cinderace with burning red eyes
Cinderace got ready to finish this
Corrupted Boltund fired a Electro Ball at Cinderace
Cinderace dodges to the side and striked Boltund at the top of its head with a Burning Axe Kick

Cinderace strikes Botund across the face with a Blaze Kick

Cinderace jumps back and fires yet another powerful Pyro Ball

Cinderace strikes Corrupted Boltund 3 more times with her powerful legs

Cinderace goes for another kick when Corrupted Boltund bites her leg with a Thunder Fang

Corrupted Boltund slams Cinderace on the ground multiple times before throwing her into a tree

Corrupted Boltund is no longer burned
Corrupted Boltund creeps toward Cinderace with a growling snarl and a bloodthirsty gaze
Cinderace is sat leaning against a tree, unable to move due to her damaged leg
Corrupted Boltund is about to pounce when a loud gunshot is heard, startling them both
Corrupted Boltund slowly looks up and finds there's a hole in its head
Black blood oozes from the wound as Corrupted Boltund falls to the ground
Cinderace looks up at the top of the cliff and smiles
Cinderace: Nice shot, May😊
Malaya: Thanks!😊
Malaya puts away her Sniper Rifle and pulls out her Staff and sticks it into the cliff to slide down easily, her Staff cutting through the hard cliff on the way down
She arrives at the bottom and rushes to Cinderace
She notices Cinderaces leg and gasps
Malaya: Oh, luv🥺
Cinderace: Don't worry about me, May😁 I'm fine *Grunts and winces in pain*
Cinderace is bleeding

Malaya uses her Staff to heal up Cinderaces leg with Healing Powder

Cinderace jumps up and is full of energy

Malaya smiles and squeezes Cinderace

The two look at each other and smile before looking at Corrupted Boltund
Corrupted Boltunds body starts bubbling with black Corrupted bubbles as it dissolves into the ground, revealing a yellow, electric gem
Cinderace collects the gem
Malaya: Good work, Cinderace😊 You took care of him pretty much all by yourself!
Cinderace smiles and winks
Cinderace: Thanks, but you helped too! After all, I'd be rabbit meat if you wouldn't have come for me😊
Malaya smiles and winks back
Malaya: No problem, luv😊 We're in this together
The two smile at each other and high five when the boss door appears in front them
Cinderace looks at Malaya and tosses the gem upwards, making it flip in the air as she catches it again
Cinderace: Whatdya say we get out of here?😉
Malaya: Sounds good to me😁👍
Cinderace nods as she inserts the gem into the door and unlocks it
The door opens, leading them back to the Backrooms
They go through the door and retrieve the gem and arrive as the door disappears
Cinderace: Alright, let's keep moving😁 We gotta keep beating up these baddies and find our friends
Malaya: Right! I sure hope we find Gray soon...
Cinderace: I'm sure we will😊
Malaya smiles back at Cinderace as the two continue on their journey
