And that's how I found myself after school, in my room, a peeled banana in hand while Sunoo was on FaceTime with me.

"Is this really necessary?" I asked him as I stared the banana down.

My mom interrupted me as I became startled, letting my phone fall face first onto my desk, completely abandoning my intention and biting the banana in half before almost choking on it, causing me to gag and cough the banana out of my mouth and onto the floor, coughing my lungs out.

I could hear Sunoo bursting his lungs out laughing in my ear.

"Jisungie! Are you okay?" My mother comes over and starts patting my back roughly to ensure it's all out of my mouth.

"E-Eating a banana," I lied poorly but she didn't suspect anything more than that thankfully.

"JiSungie you know you aren't supposed to bring food up here," she warned me.

"S-Sorry I got hungry while I was studying with my friend ..."

I apologize in shame.

"Then come down to the kitchen to study. No more food in your room, got it? And clean up the mess you made. she says as she walks out my room with a slight slam of the door.

I sigh and pick up my phone.

"Your mother seems... Lovely," Sunoo says, but I can hear the force of the statement in his voice.

"Mhm," I agree. The air feels awkward now.

"... Well, that poor guy's dick would've been cut clean off," Sunoo says with a chuckle. I chuckle along with him, nodding in agreement.

"We'll do this again later. It's getting late anyways. Talk soon?"

"Yeah. See you tomorrow, and thanks for agreeing to help me."

"No problem jisung. See ya!"
