Mizari was giving a report about all the changes that had happened since defeating that colossal honju. First a warrant was put out for the human Ichikawa and Iharu saw who was actually a kaiju in disguise. We names the kaiju, kaiju no 9, but we didn't reveal its existence to the public. It wouldn't exactly be beneficial for the public to be constantly paranoid if the person beside them was a kaiju or not.

"That concludes my report Denmon-sama. As per schedule it is now massage time." Mizari concludes with a bow

"Yay!" I say taking off my jacket and lying on my stomach on the desk

Mizari begins kneading my back with her elbows expertly, getting rid of any knots in my back. It was pretty painful but very effective.

"Ahh.. ahh... go harder Mizari." I said wincing with pain

Outside my room. Kikoru was about to knock on my door. But now her mind was filled with weird thoughts after hearing the sounds coming from inside. Her face flushed red before she hesitantly knocked the door.

"Come in." I say with my face planted on the table

Kikoru hesitantly comes in but her blush fades a bit when she sees I'm just getting a massage. I look up and see her fidgeting with her uniform

"Oh it's you. Is this about the 3rd division celebrations?" I ask

"Y-yeah...." Kikoru nods sheepishly

"Go ahead. The zero division is sorta like the elite division of the 3rd division. But there's one rule." I say lifting up a finger

"What?" Kikoru asks

"You must tell everyone there how awesome I am. Especially if Mina is there but i doubt she is." I say

"Seriously.... Sure...." Kikoru deadpans before walking out the door

"Wait come find me after everything's done. I have something interesting to show you." I say

"Roger." Kikoru says

After she leaves Mizari gets back to work on my body.

Timeskip( after the party)

Kikoru came to my office after the party and I led her to the weaponry.

"My own personal weapon?" Kikoru said looking at the giant red battle axe on the table

"Mhm. I thought it suited your personality. Loud, brutish, aggressive, rude." I joked

"Grrk!" Kikoru grit her teeth in annoyance

"But why? I thought they only gave personalized weapons to captains." Kikoru questioned

"You're the only other combat unit in my division. So technically you're my vice captain. But for now I'd consider you an honorary vice captain. So prove your strength to me Kikoru. Maybe you can get that title." I smirk

"Yes sir!" Kikoru shouts

"good. I won't be around all the time. So when I'm not here, you need to fly the 0 division flag high. You're dismissed." I say walking out the weaponry

Kikoru watched my back as I walked out the room with a newfound determination to prove her worth to me

"Kafka Hibino. As of today, you are hereby promoted from a cadet to an officer of the defence corps." Mina says

The 2 salute each other.

"I kafka Hibino, do solemnly swear to give my all in battle!" Kafka exclaims

"Then if you'll please excuse me." Kafka awkwardly said before shuffling out of the room
