Y/n's pov

*I arrive at home and walk through the door. Out the front of our house on the decking, we have two small benches my dad made underneath the windows with a large dark oak door in the middle. When you step in the walls are a range of browns, you have the kitchen to your right with an island with wooden stools my dad made, to your left are two old sofa's infront of a small coffee table my dad made, ahead of the kitchen is a long wooden table with wooden chairs my dad made. If it isn't obvious, my dad's a carpenter. Near the dining room, there are two glass sliding doors leading to a small but colourful garden full of plants, fruits and vegetables. In her free time, my mum gardens, and it definitely shows. The other side of the doors is a set of stairs, at the top of the stairs is a dark brown door leading to my parents room, round the corner is another dark brown door leading to a simple oak styled bathroom. At the end of the hallway is another dark brown door leading into mine and Elsie's room. When you walk in, the floor is a brown hardwood floor, with the main wall being dark green(to the right) and the other walls are a lighter green. There are two single beds with two small dark brown handmade bedside tables either side of it up against the main wall, at the bottom of the beds there are two small brown cases for storage, then there is a gap and then a handmade wardrobe, in-between the two wardrobes is a window over looking the garden with pale green floral curtains, at the end of the room is a built in sage green bench seat with storage underneath it, next to a large window looking out to the path with matching pale green floral curtains. We have green in our room because when we decorated it we got to the conclusion green was a colour both me and Elsie quite liked.*

"Y/n!!!" Elsie shouts, running up to me in a baby pink dressing gown with her long s/h/c wet hair laying down her back. *Elsie hugs me around the waist.*

"Hello, Elsie." I say, looking down at her smiling.

"Y/n, it's time for your bath." My mum says, coming down the stairs.

"Okay, I'll be back soon, Elsie." I say to her, kissing the top of her head, I start to walk away.

"Oh y/n, I've hung up yours and Elsie's matching dresses on your wardrobes." My mum says. That's another thing my mum does in her free time, she sews stuff for us. Well, it isn't really a thing she does in her free time, she is one of the best seamstresses in district 7. *I go upstairs and get in the bath, washing my body and hair. Once I'm out, I dry myself off on the grey towel. And then put on my f/c dressing gown, I walk into my room and grab my wooden hair brush out of my case and start brushing my hair infront of the floor length mirror on my wardrobe. I go downstairs and see my dad and sister at the stools by the kitchen island eating my mum is in the kitchen doing something. I walk over and sit to the right of Elsie, our dad to her left.*

"Here you go, sweetheart." My mum says happily as she slides me a small bowl of granola with some yoghurt and fruit on top over the counter.

"Thanks, mum." I reply, starting to eat my food. That's one thing about my mum, she knows everyone's favourite food for each meal and keeps them on a rotation. She knows that I'm not a huge breakfast person but that I do have it on special occasions, and I'll have granola, yoghurt, and fruit from the garden. *I eat my food and then go and put my bowl and spoon in the sink. My mum cooks and my dad cleans afterwards and they don't think giving me and Elsie "chores" as other familys say is right, we have to fear for 7 years of our life we are going to get taken to be killed so my parents say that we should enjoy our life as who know if we will be reaped, that's what they decided and it works for them, me and Elsie. Elsie is now finished aswell.*

"Why don't us three girls go upstairs and get you two ready?" My mum says. *We all walk upstairs. We walk into mine and Elsie's room.*

"So Elsie, how do you want your hair?" My mum asks sitting at the bottom of Elsie bed facing the wardrobe, she is wearing a long sleved red and black flannel with blue skinny jeans, with her long m/h/c down. Even though it's quite non-feminine, she still manages to look feminine. Elsie is sat crossed, legged on her case, still in her baby pink dressing gown. I'm sat on the little stool my dad made, in front of Elsie.*
