Y/n's pov

*As I'm about to step out of my room, I turn on the scared week girl act, I open the door and look either way to see if there was anyone there. When I see no one there, I turn left and aproch the sliding glass doors. They open, and I walk in, I then walk over to where the bar is to get some water. I open the high cabinet and grab out a glass and go to shut the door, then suddenly-*

"Good morning." A female voice says. *I turn around at full speed, dropping the glass soon, having my hands out in front of me in fists. I hear the glass shatter on the floor as I see Johanna standing at the door.*

"Woah, It's just me. I'm not here to hurt you." Johanna says as she starts to walk towards me with her hands up.

"Sorry, I just didn't expect that." I say bending down, collecting the bigger bits of glass together.

"Don't worry, it's not your fault, now let's get this cleaned up." She says, getting a bin and placing it near me. *She then grabs a dustpan and brush. I carefully pick up the bigger bits of glass.*

"Hey, no, don't do that. You'll hurt yourself." Johanna says, clearly not impressed by me touching the glass.

"I'll be fine." I say, placing the bigger bits of glass in the bin. *I continue to carefully place the bigger bits in the bin while Johanna sweeps up the rest and then puts it in the bin. We soon finish and place the bin, dustpan, and brush back.*

"You sure you're able to get another glass." Johanna says, chuckling as I go to get another glass out.

"Who know? Lett's just hope this one doesn't smash as well." I say chuckling.

"Why don't you go sit down and I'll get a drink for us both." She says slightly, smiling.

"Okay, just water with ice, please." I say and go to sit down. *It's not long till Johanna comes back with two glasses of water and ice. She gives me one and then sits to my left.*

"Concidering your my mentor. Do you have any life saving advise for the games." I question. Okay, y/n, rememberyou'rer the scared week girl from 7. You need to look scared to everyone.

"I was going to talk to you about that this morning, actually." Johanna says, turning to face me more, I do the same.

"So, let's just assume the arena has trees. The arena always trees, well apart from the first 10, and the odd game every few years. But let's just assume there are going to be trees." She says, and I nod.

"You said you couldn't use any weapons, so I don't recommend even trying. I've seen people who can't use a weapon try to use them and end up hurting themselves, sometimes even killing themselves, so don't try to use a weapon if you know you can't." She says I nod to let her know I'm still listening.

"What I'd recommend for you. When you first get into the arena, observe it, spend atleast 20 out of the 60 seconds looking at the layout of the arena, spend about 10 seconds looking at the other tributes where abouts but if you do have allies spend about 15, then spend about 15 seconds seeing where stuff is in the cornucopia and then spend the rest of the time trying to figure out where your going to go, if it's away from the cornucopia, if it's to grab a weapon, if it's to grab a bag, if it's to meet up with an ally." She says.

"Okay, so a 20, 10, 15, 15 system." I say.

"Yeah, exactly. 20, 10, 15, 15." She says, smiling, before it quickly drops.

"So when the cannon goes of, I recommend for you at this point in time to get a bag and sprint away untilyou'rer at least 200 meters from the initial view of the cornucopia. Then, find a sturdy tree to climb, that is again assuming there are trees. If not probably mountains, and then you'd just run into those. If a beach, oh, who knows, just try and get past the bloodbath and not drown." She says. *The sliding door suddenly opens. I turn around to see Evangeline come in. She is wearing a teal knee-length dress, but it fades into a jacket. She also has a shoulder-length teal wig with teal make-up.*

"Exactly where I expected you to be Johanna. Good morning, y/n." Evangeline says.

"Good morning." I say, acting scared again.

"I was just a bit concerned about you, Johanna. You're at the table first but when I got there you weren't there." Evangeline says.

"Aww. You cared about me, that's so cute." Johanna says in a mocking tone. *Evangeline then tuts turning to me.*

"Would you like to come for breakfast now y/n as it's almost 8:45." She asks me.

"Oh, umm, sure." I say, standing up.

"Hey! What about me, do I not get an invite." Johanna says angryliy.

"Oh, if you must come." Evangeline says. *I laugh at the two women, always arguing. When Evangeline soon starts to walk out, I follow her with Johanna soon behind me. We get to the dining cart. I go and sit down in my usual space next to Johanna. Blight soon comes in.*

"Good morning, ladies." He says, sitting down smiling.

"Good morning." The three of us say in unison. *I scan across the table and see several different types of sliced bread. With butter pots and several different jam pots across the table. I just decide to get a small slice of brown bread and put a bit of strawberry jam on it. I don't actually eat it, though. I just leave it on my plate wanting to get used to not having as much food in the arena.*

"Y/n. I saw you and Johanna together in the last cart this morning. Did she tell you anything useful about the games." Evangeline asks, looking towards me. *I look up at her and see Blight now looking between Johanna and me.*

"Oh, umm. She did tell me quite a bit about what I should do during the bloodbath." I say.

"Okay, good. Blight, you're more liked. You should tell her about making sponsors." Evangeline says, now looking at Blight.

"Thanks." Johanna says, not impressed.

"Oh yeah, sponsors. So basically, when we get to the capital, you will get a stylist who will dress you in an outfit representing our distri-" Blight starts.

"Trees. You'll be dressed as a god damn tree, we always have been and always will be trees." Johanan interrupts.

"As I was saying. You'll be dressed up where you and Wallace will then be put onto a chariot and shown to the capital. I'm sure you've seen it before. You'll stop infront of President Snow's balcony and he'll give a speech and then you'll turn around and come back, this is the sponsors first chance to get to see you and decide to give input into your survival." Blight says. *The door suddenly opens. Wallace walks in and sits opposite me. He starts to put food on his plate. I've still not actually ate mine yet.*

"Basically. You'll get to the capital, dressed up, and then shown to the capital citizens. And then yeah, we will go to district 7's floor." Blight says to Wallace.

"Oh, okay." He replies. *We all sit in silence for a little while, I just sit looking at my untouched plate. Suddenly, the cart goes dark. I look up instantly. I look at Wallace, and he looks just as confused. Evangeline seems happy. Blight and Johanna seem unfazed, I look at Johanna with a worried look. She then looks at me.*

"We are finally at the capital." Evangeline says happily. *Light is suddenly back in the cart. I see a bunch of colourful capital people outside the window as the train starts to slow down. We get up and walk over towards the doors to exit. As the doors are about to open, Evangeline starts to talk.*

"When the doors open, we will start to walk down. Smile and wave at the people it will give you a good first impression." Evangeline says. *The doors open, and we step out starting to walk. Johanna and Blight infront, me and Wallace next to eachother, and Evangeline behind us. I look out into the crowds and wave to people while having a small smile on my face. When we enter, we are guided to somewhere.*

"Okay, so you will be preped now, and then later this afternoon, we will meet up again, and then you will be shown of on the chariots, so we will see you then." Blight says. *Me and Wallace are guided somewhere.*

Don't forget, if I've made mistakes, feel free to correct me.

I hope you enjoyed!
