A Secret Love - Cato x Reader

Hello readers, even if there are few. This is my first ever story, so please keep that in mind while reading this.

This is obviously a Cato Hadley x Reader story, so some things will change, but most of the story will be based along the lines of The Hunger Games by Suzan Collins. I have only watched the movies and not read the books so pretty much all of the story will be based of the movies, some little bits might be based of what happend in the book, but that's because I've heard little bits about the books and preferred that scene over the movie's scene.

I have Googled quite a bit of the information, like names of tributes(every website I looked at had different names so I just went with the set of names I think suited the characters the most), the tasks in training, the order of deaths in the games, and other things like that so if things aren't right then it might be because I've only watched the movies or because it's what Google said.

This is a warning, I am quite a descriptive writer, if I can even be considered a writer. I accidentally get carried away and describe little things in lots of detail, so there will be quite a bit of detail for some things, but I will try my best to limit it. If I re-read my work, I will try to take out some unnecessary description.

I know my spelling is absolutely horrible and I do try to re-read what I've wrote to correct spellings but sometimes I don't notice or don't re-read it, so please let me know and I can change it.

I will try my best to post a chapter once a week, but if I can't, I am sorry in advance. I've decided Saturdays and Sundays are best for me to post, so expect a new chapter on Saturdays or Sundays.

If you don't like any of the names of y/n's friends or other people I've made up, just change them. You might not like it because you have that name, or you just simply don't like it. Here are some suggestions(you obviously don't have to use them you can use something else)
Y/n's female friend - Lexi, Lana, Amelia
Y/n's male friend - Noah, Oscar, Issac
District 7's escort - Diana Crown, Elizabeth Lucia, Sandra Knight
Y/n's stylist - Samantha, Katherine, Harriet

Also, I am British. So, for the American or other readers(if I even have any readers, let alone American one's) some words might have different spellings or some words might just be different. There probably are quite a few differences, but the only ones I can think of right now are:
English - American
Colour - Color
Sofa - Couch
Lift - Elevator
