Chapter 4: The Tournament

Soon after, Y/N was talking with Raiden.

Y/N: So, this Earth is basically like my universe, right?

Raiden: Indeed.

Y/N: Why is it called Earthrealm?

Raiden: That was the name given to it by the Elder Gods.

Y/N: Yeah, but why, is it because Earthrealm is the only place where there is life on the planet? Back in my universe i know at a few other planets that has life there are also ones with Symbiotes. 

Raiden held up his Y/N signaling him to stop talking. 

Raiden: You ask a lot of questions, Y/N L/N.

Y/N: Well I did travel to thirty-two years into the past in anither universe. I think I have the right to ask questions.

Raiden: Yes, I suppose you do. 

He then spotted Earthrealm's protector walking over to the two. 

Liu Kang: Lord Raiden, who is this?

Raiden: This is Y/N L/N.

Y/N looks at him and mutters to himself.

Y/N: So much for a secret identity.

Raiden: He also goes by Spider-Man, he is here to join us against Outworld.

Liu Kang: A new Earthrealm champion? You hadn't made me aware of a new ally.

Raiden: He was a last minute addition, Liu Kang, but is welcomed notheless.

Liu Kang turns to Y/N.

Liu kang: Which order do you represent?

Y/N: Uh, New York.

Liu Kang raised an eyebrow, confused by Y/N's answer. 

Liu Kang: I don't believe I've heard of that order. 

Raiden: He is independent, like Johnny Cage. 

Liu Kang: Hopefully, your not as irritating. 

Y/N: No promises. 

Raiden: Come both of you. The tournament is set to begin. 

The three begin to walk together as Liu Kang asked why he calls himself Spider-Man and Y/N explained the same thing to Liu Kang as he did with Raiden and Shang Tsung and Liu Kang was impressed as Raiden speaks up.

Raiden: Gentlemen, we are here.

Y/N looks around and see the other participants. 

Y/N: Hey, Raiden, can you give me a rundown on whose who?

Raiden: Certainly. we'll start with friends as we have many more foes than allies.

They turn to Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade. 

Raiden: The blonde lady is Sonya Blade of the Speical Forces and the gentlemen in the blue suit is an acotr, Johnny Cage. They are unaware of the reason for completing in the tournament. Miss Blade is here to find her commander Officer, Jackson Briggs and wanted Black Dragon leader, Kano. Mr. Cage, on the other hand had been led to believe that this tournament is in fact an elaborate movie set. 

They then see Nightwolf.

Raiden: Next, the gentlemen to your left is Nightwolf. He is an Earthrealmer who is connected to the spirit world. The spirits grant him great power to kombat the darkness that threaten mortals.

Y/N: Spirits? Thought my world was complex. 

Raiden: Now, for our foes.

Y/N: Wait, that's all? Me and four others?
