Chapter 14: Going Back to New York

In the safe house, Franklin and Valeria were arguing.

Valeria: No, you idiot! Are you completely brain damaged?!

Franklin: Hey! Why don't you do it then, if you're so smart, huh?! Oh, that's right! It's because you're a tiny midget! So shut up and let me concentrate!

Valeria slaps her bother in the back of the head.

Frankin: OW! Don't hit me!

Valeria: Then don't be mean, Franklin!

Franklin: You weren't mean when you called me brain damage. It's okay for you to be mean but I can't? How is that fair?

Valeria: Because I'm the oldest.

Franklin sighed.

Franklin: There. What else?

Both Franklin and Valeria have been working on a teleporter in secret after they heard Julia and Steve talking about their uncle still being alive and the two heroes said nothing to anyone, much to their anger. Before, Y/N disappearance, he always took care of the two kids whenever the Fantastic Four went on missions as he always helped the two and took care of them and the two eventually viewed Y/N as a father more than they did Reed. Even Susan admitted to them that she had feeling for Y/N but could never really tell him. It was devastating when they heard of Y/N's supposed death and at the funeral, when it was revealed that Y/N was innocent, they threw a fit. Valeria locked herself in her lab while Franklin retreated to his room, lashing at any and everything that moved. The tower even sometimes shook when Franklin vented his rage through his powers.

It wasn't just them suffering, after hearing the news of Y/N's death, Johnny took to the skies and lit up the clouds like a supernova for over four hours. He had completely broken down and could now be found at bars drinking his sorrows away with Logan as none of the members of the Fantastic Four did nothing for nearly a month out of guilt for betraying Y/N.

In present day, Steve stepped into the room as the heroes all turned to him.

Steve: What do we got?

Susan: It's not good. They are choosing sides. Otto and Norman are recruiting villains to help fight each other. Soon, the streets will turn into a warzone.

Reed: Not to mention the fact, the president has imposed a lockdown on the city due to Mr. Negative's corrupt influence. There's no way to tell if some is possessed or not. Hank, Tony and I are working on a wide range scanner that should be able to isolate the Darkforce from the Lightforce energies.

Silk: That also means when we enter the city. We cannot leave. Not until every one of them are defeated.

Miles: Who's on which side?

Maria: The Sinister Six are with Otto, the Superior Spider-Man-

Silk: Don't! Don't you dare call him that. There was only one Spider-man and he's dead. That thing is nothing more than a pretender!

S/N: Who else? Who joined Goblin?

Maria: Kingpin, Hammerhead, Shocker. Hydra joined Otto as AIM joined Osborn.

Agent B/N comes running in.

B/N: Stark, did you leave the plans for your suits at Avengers tower when you left?

Tony: No, why?

B/N: I just got reports that Rhino is wearing something similar to the Hulkbuster suit.

Tony: What on Earth! How... Octavius.

Reed: What?

Tony: When he was in Y/N's body, he hacked the tower and stored the information in a secure server.
