I laugh "Can where are we going?" as he takes off still holding my hand.

"I know a good food truck that makes the best burgers. Sounds good?"

We made it to the food truck and grabbed some burgers. Finding a spot at one of the outside benches with a view of the water and the peaceful skyline. "Here's to being rebels together," he said as we clinked our burgers and unwrapped them for a bite. The juicy beef and cheese made me smile—it was really good. Can takes a bite, then gets up and heads to his truck. He comes back with two bottles of wine and two red plastic cups. He looks at me and gestures, asking if I want some. I nod and he pours me some before filling his own.

We were quietly munching on our food when I interrupt the silence "Don't be out here thinking this my norm, I don't let loose very often."

"I doubt that." He lifted a brow. "What about when you are home?"

"When I'm home, I usually spend my time solving puzzles or reading," I confessed.

"That's impressive," he complimented.

"Oh, stop it," I replied, laughing as I jokingly tossed a piece of aluminum foil from the burger at him. His eyes widened and I paled, realizing my mistake.

"Oh no, I'm terribly sorry. You're still my boss. Oh man! I'm such a klutz," I apologized, feeling embarrassed.

He burst into a hearty laugh, his genuine reaction surprising me. Amidst all his acting, I had never seen him so relaxed and genuinely amused. I joined in his laughter. We continue the night laughing and drinking. It feels like I've discovered a new side to Can; he's incredibly funny and has a child like side to him. So not only is he very attractive and super famous, but he's also adventurous and intelligent. We also found common ground on so many things – we both love dogs, want to travel the world, love for chocolate, books, and have a mutual obsession with Marvel heroes. We had an argument disagreeing on who is the best Avenger. He also shared an embarrassing moment from a set, making me laugh so hard I nearly snorted.

"This bottle is dangerous," I remark, pointing at the empty bottle before opening the next one. "Why three wines?" I ask. He shrugs, saying, "There weren't being used at the wedding and I was feeling loose" he smirks at our word of the night. "Turns out the first two are good."I say after taking a sip of the second wine, finding it more dry but enjoyable. I take another drink and we both continue to indulge, feeling the buzz set in.

He drank his wine and it looked like he was taking in the silent moment. "May I ask a personal question?"

"Go for it."

"Puzzles are fun... but why are you alone?" He asked slowly.

"Uh...well to be honest, it was because of a guy."

"It's always that isn't it?" He says drily.

I took a deep breath. "We started dating in college. Made plans that we would graduate, move in together and eventually get engaged after three years. Married and in a year and have two kids. It was going to be a picturesque life complete with a dog and a picket fence. But after we moved in together he found me too boring, he said that wasn't spontaneous enough. So he cheated on me with a red head with big boobs, I only know that because I caught them together having sex on my new couch."

He shook his head "the man was clearly a dumb ass."

I shrug and we both stayed silent.

"Sanem... I need to understand why you're leaving us," Can said, his voice edged with concern.

"Can, I—" I hesitated, searching for the right words. "I want you to understand that I appreciate Divit Productions and will always appreciate the company but I think its fair for me to know what's out there. Job-hopping isn't uncommon; I know I will only get better. I also need to be honest with you: these past few weeks, you've been micromanaging me and pushing me harder than usual. It pushed me over the edge and this opportunity presented itself." I took a deep breath thankful for this liquid courage.
