"Wolf."

A soft hum followed as two people slipped around a group of guards.

"They're guarding the gate-"

A nod came from the small one as the other stopped, watching as the other slipped behind the large guard. With almost complete silence, the mysterious person sliced off the guard's head, alerting the other two. They then hissed.

"Die."

~

The duo managed to get to an open field before the female stopped.

"Uh oh-"

The 'Wolf' stayed quiet as he stepped forward, standing in the way of the samurai that stood there.

"Move."

"Not without the Lady." The katana of the smaller male was pulled with a hiss.

"Not a chance."

~

He may not have won, but he didn't go down quietly. His left arm was cut off, which was the only thing that helped the enemy.

He woke up, less in pain, to a small voice.

"You live. Good."

He sat up, checking his now bandaged wounds before seeing a prosthetic arm in the place of his left.

"I'm sure you have a goal to do. So I hope that helps you out."

He turned to the voice, seeing a dark haired male, who was sculpting something.

"The doctor's outside if you wish to speak to her. However, I'm sure you have to hurry to catch up to your Lady."

The young boy stayed quiet as he stood up and went out. He approached the lady that was out there, who smiled at him.

"Good to see you standing." She handed him a bag. "I filled that with medicine for you." He nodded. "They took the Lady to the Castle. Be careful."

~

He silently wiped out the guards before reaching the top. The Samurai from before, Lysandre, turned to him with a frown.

"You return." The 'Wolf' pulled his blade out.

"Hand over the Lady."

"Come get her."

~

The 'Wolf' went downstairs, where the Lady was waiting.

"Shinobi X... Are you hurt?"

"I am fine, M'lady Y."

"Good. Now then. Are you still willing to accompany me to the Immortal End?"

"Of course, M'lady." She nodded as she stood up.

"Then let us go."

~

X led the way through the cold mountains, being cautious of all who dared to attack them.

"Die."

They dropped like rocks each and every time. Y was silent as they arrived at a temple.

"Careful. Something blocks us from our destination." He nodded.

"Wait here."

~

Upon getting to the location, a small boy was resting there.

"Divine Heir..." Y nodded as she spoke.

"We are here for the Mortal Blade." He nodded before setting a box down and opening it.

"Careful. I hope you know the rumors of it." X stepped forward before picking it up.

"We are certain." He hummed before unsheathing the blade. The pain struck hard as he knelt down. The smaller boy stood up before Y stopped him. It took X a second before he stood up, holding the sword up. The small boy gasped.

"Oh... I see." He bowed his head before turning to the Lady. "I hope you are safe in your journey, M'lady."

"Thank you. We have some Immortals to slay."

~

X knew Lysandre wasn't killed back in who knows where. So when they neared the docks, he was waiting.

"Stay back, M'lady." She gulped as a similar sword to the Mortal Blade rested in his hand.

"You go through me."

"Yeah? I'm sure." A ghostly aura encased the Shinobi. "You won't see the light of day."

The battle was almost swift if Lysandre wasn't smart. Upon stabbing him with the Red Misted Blade, the enemy hissed.

"So be it!" Another warrior flashed their blade as Y shouted.

"Look out!" X merely took a deep breath before clashing with the second Mortal Blade, this time in the hands of someone else. "That's the-" X hissed.

"Fading!"

The blade of the Shinobi was coated in a sea of flames before he vanished, only his shadow remained. And it was as confused as the rest of the battlefield. He then reappeared behind the enemy, with only a chant to reveal his position.

"By the Holy Prowess of this realm
Seek the sanctuary of Death
Send this soul to the hands of thou that stands when they shan't
And bless this battle with the Moon of Bloodshed!"

The swords, that of the Mortal Blade and his regular blade, were not but blurs as they attacked the warrior, quickly dealing heavy damage and cutting him down with incredible ability. By the time they were back in their sheathes, the man had collapsed into powder. Y blinked as X went over.

"Alright, M'lady?" She nodded.

"You have much to tell me. Best know our abilities when fighting the Immortals."
