The Wolf was silent as they approached Galar, which looked quiet. As they docked, a group of demons attacked. Just as the fighters got into position, a voice yelped out.

"HEY!" The demons jumped back as someone skidded in front. "NO! BACK!" A growl came from one as someone slipped behind the person. Green paused at the sight of a Demon Slayer mark. "I SAID BACK! WE TALKED ABOUT THIS- HEY!" One clashed with Violet, who looked unimpressed. With a quick curse, the new arrival had their sword coated in a light. "I SAID GET BACK!" With a fast slash at the demon's arm, the others panicked when it became dust. They raced off before the Demon Slayer yelled out. "YOU KNOW THE RULES! LEAVE THEM OR ELSE YOU'RE GOING TO END UP IN A BODY BAG!" They sighed before they sheathed the sword and turned to them. "Sorry about that. Is everyone ok?" The other person had slipped around the group as Y answered.

"We seem to be in one piece. Thanks." The first person nodded before his companion went to his side and whispered something, eyeing X. Their gaze then flickered around, almost as if they were explaining members just by circling the group. A hum escaped the Demon Slayer before they smiled.

"Good. Why don't you come with me to my place?"

Upon arrival, there was a growl upstairs, but the person merely threw a bag up the stairs that gained silence. Green finally spoke.

"I can see guarding a Demon that helps. But that-" The person gave a weak smile.

"I know they can't be saved. But I was saved from turning into one as well. So I'm doing the best I can to try and get them to see that they can continue fighting back. Trying, at least." They shook their head before looking at Y. "Let me guess... you're after the Immortal?" She nodded. "Well, then be careful. This may be the hardest of them all. You may have to pull out now."

"How so?" The Demon Slayer's companion spoke after emerging from the kitchen with some water.

"God of Extermination. If you live to tell the tale, you're lucky. No amount of blessings can protect one from him. He's killed gods with his bare hands. He was the cause of the Immortal Fall centuries ago. 126 Gods all collapsed within 3 months. Only one God survived. No one knows who that was, but many believe that God gave him his status of Immortality. Now, no one knows what side he's on."

There was a steady silence before Y spoke, alerting X.

"Wolf. To the field. Attempt your hand at the challenge. I will revive you for you to escape if needed. We will go from there." He bowed his head before vanishing.

X wasn't sure if the guy hit.

The Immortal didn't look like one. Which is probably why when they passed each other, X didn't expect to get killed the second he wasn't looking. But there was one good thing with this.

He now knew the Immortal's face.

When he was revived, he moved quietly back to the base.

"I told you."

"He doesn't know his opponent well."

Y hummed as they stood in silence.

"Right. We'll be back for here. This god will fall." She turned to Casey and Henry, who introduced themselves while X was off being dead. "Would you two like to join us?" Henry hesitated before he thought about it. He probably was thinking about the group upstairs, knowing it was unsafe for them.

"Yeah. I can't protect them forever." Casey purred.

"Better for your mental health."

"Hush!"
