A yelp followed as a green haired male managed to climb a tree, losing the group chasing him. He pulled out a gun and aimed, waiting for one to be stupid enough to come over.

"He was just here."

"Let's see..."

His sniper instincts were on as he waited. One guy went over and just as he started to climb, the male fired. The chaser dropped as he fired at the other, missing greatly as he dodged.

"HEY!"

He bolted, hoping to gain some distance. He aimed back, firing again, only to miss. Shit. He focused forward before jumping up a tree and firing again, this time with the high ground. He kept firing, even having to reload in the middle. The chaser pulled out a sword, slicing the bullets. The green haired male gulped. This wasn't good. He kept firing before having to run again.

In his defense, he knew exactly why they were chasing him. He had accidentally shown that he was blessed by the Legendary Pokemon Rayquaza by blasting a few away with powerful winds when they started tormenting him. So why wasn't he using the powers now? He wasn't properly trained, so his powers were on cooldown. So he relied on his rifle and sniper skills to guard him until he lost them.

That wasn't going well.

"Come on..."

He got some distance before seeing a hidden trail. Taking it, he slipped in and almost disappeared. He managed to find a high place before aiming again, waiting. The guy slowly approached the area. Looking around confused, he couldn't find the sniper until he was shot. The green haired male gulped before bolting. Once he got away at a safe distance, he collapsed. His blessing must've been fighting for sleep as he barely managed to get to a nearby tree and fall asleep.

Upon waking up (He was still extremely tired), sounds of battle entered his ears. He blinked before sitting up.

"BACK UP!"

"MOVE!"

The green haired male rubbed his face before standing up, seeing more of the pesky grunts and a blue haired male. An interesting weapon rested in his hand as he blocked the group's attempts to get to the tired male. The green haired male shook his head before pulling his rifle and firing, quickly taking out three of the grunts before the fourth blocked. Upon seeing he was awake, the bluenette quickly charged, cutting down any that blocked the bullets. One managed to block him, forgetting that the gun was still aiming, before getting shot. Upon finishing the fighting, the green haired male collapsed, a wave of tiredness washing over him. He rested against the tree before the other male went over, his weapon put away.

"Are you ok?" The tired male looked up slightly, gaining enough of a mind to nod.

"Yeah... just a little dry of energy." Gently, he pulled a cloak out of his bag and got into it. Instantly, he felt safer in it. "There... much better. Maybe now they'll leave me alone..." The bluenette smiled.

"Ok good. I should be wandering around here some more. I'll keep them out of your area." The green haired male thanked him silently before laying down again, drifting off.

He woke up much later, having a bit of a dizzy spell once he sat up. He looked around, seeing that it was nearly sunset. He slept for that long? It was just before noon when he fell asleep the second time and he wasn't sure how long he slept before that. He rubbed his face before he grabbed his rifle, inspecting the abnormally small weapon. He obviously didn't reload after the last fight since his ammo case was empty. He sighed as he reloaded the gun before looking around again. The bluenette was right about one thing: he wasn't disturbed by that group. He rubbed his head before sliding the gun into its sheath.
