Five: Proposal

"Dunk, are you okay?"

I turned my head to meet Milk's face only to see a confused expression plastered on her face. We've been drawing here for our plates this semester for several hours but I'm still on sketch. Normally, I could've finished this in 4 hours.

"Yeah, I just don't have any idea yet." I smiled fakingly before turning back to my plate.

Milk nodded. "Have you apologized to Joong yet?"

I stopped sketching by the mention of his name. I hummed in response, not knowing what to say.

"How did it go? Did he accept it?"

Did he? It's more like... Did I?

"Would you allow me to court you?" Joong smiled.

What!? I looked at him, shocked. Unexpected by his request. Is he drunk? What is he up to!?

"Uhh... I-I'm.." I stuttered. What the hell should I say?!

He looked at me expecting an answer from my mouth. What should I do!? How do I reject him?

We stared at each other, completely ignoring our surroundings. I couldn't take my eyes off him, trying to understand his actions but failing. He flashed a playful smile, his eyes shifting from one side of my eyes to the other, finally settling on my lips before returning to my eyes. This only deepened my confusion.

Is he doing the triangle method on me?

The sound of the engine stopped us from looking at each other. I turned my head, realizing that the bus finally arrived. Thank goodness!

"I need to go." I immediately stood up, taking my sling bag and my drawing tube to my shoulder while my other hand was holding books and blueprints. I looked at him awkwardly.

"Sorry" I slightly bowed before I ran. I didn't wait for his response as I immediately went to the bus.

What just happened!?

"He didn't accept it" I said shyly.

Milk looked at me again. "Then you should do something to make him forgive you. You messed up this time, Dunk. You forcibly kissed him."

I know! But I can't even look at him again! I bit my lower lip, stressed of what I should do.

Today is Tuesday, so I only have two classes. I don't want to miss the lecture since I was already absent yesterday. The next class will cover what happens in an Omega's body during pregnancy, along with the do's and don'ts.

I don't want to go there since I don't have the reason to get married and have family anymore, but attendance is graded so I have no other choice.

Once the classes were over, I immediately went outside the campus. The prying eyes are still on me but unexpectedly, they're not following me anymore. Finally!
