Several days have passed, and here I am, still confused about what's happening. Joong cannot accept no, while his fans are super creepy, constantly following us.
Even though I reject him, it still has no effect. And even if Joong tells his fans, they still don't stop following us... following me.
There's only one thing left for me to do to keep these fans from spreading. For sure, this treatment will be effective!
"Where are you going, Milk?"
When our last class ended, Milk and I walked outside without waiting for our other friends. We knew they would probably stay late, especially First, who often has to spend extra time on his difficult nursing course.
"I'll go fetch my girlfriend; she's been whining about her test. I need to cheer her up," Milk replied, looking slightly concerned.
I smirked and playfully tapped her arm with my elbow. "Girlfriend duty, huh?"
"Of course," she said with a wink, making me chuckle.
"Speaking of duty, it looks like your suitor is on duty as well," Milk said, nodding towards the entrance of the building.
I furrowed my brows and turned to see Joong walking towards us. This is it, Dunk.
"Hi, Dunk," Joong said as he reached me. He glanced at Milk before focusing back on me. "She's your friend, right? I always saw her with you."
I ignored him and looked around aimlessly. Joong frowned at my behavior.
I heard Milk chuckle softly. "I'm Milk, Dunk's friend since our freshman year. Nice to meet you," she said, extending her hand with a warm smile.
Joong returned the smile and clasped her hand. "Nice to meet you as well. I'm Joong. Are you going somewhere else?" He asked, looking at us both expectantly.
She shook her head. "No, you can take him. I'm on my way to get my girlfriend," Milk said, emphasizing the word 'girlfriend' with a playful grin.
My eyes widened. This traitor! I kept signaling her with my eyes not to leave me with him. But she just shrugged it off.
She waved goodbye before heading off, leaving us alone.
Heyyy! Don't you ever let me see you again, you traitor!
"Shall we go?" Joong asked, ready to leave.
"Uhh" What now!?
What happened to my Ignore Operation!? I just nodded at him, which made him smile.
We started walking but I didn't look him in the eye and kept my distance from him as we walked. The distance between us was so large that I could see from the corner of my eye how puzzled he was by my behavior.
Just let it go! This is for his own good too.
"Dunk, why are you so far away?" he asked, walking closer to me.
I immediately moved away from him when I saw what he did, causing him to stop walking towards me.
Joong seemed offended by what I did because he sniffed his shirt before looking at me again. He probably thought he smelled bad that's why I'm distancing myself to him.
He opened his mouth, ready to speak, but I quickly walked away, not wanting to talk to him.
A footsteps rang to my ears. I could tell he was following me, so I headed straight out of the school.
