"Where are you going, Phi?"
I didn't turn around, focusing instead on adjusting my hair in the mirror. "I have a date," I replied to my younger brother, Fourth.
Fourth is actually my stepbrother; he's Mom's child from another man, Uncle Mile. Even though we have different fathers, we never treated each other like strangers.
Fourth sighed deeply and plopped onto my bed, his brow furrowing. "I hope she's decent," he said, clearly exasperated.
I looked over him, puzzled. "What do you mean by that?"
He sat on my bed and rolled his eyes, clearly irritated. "With all your delusional fans and ex-flings, they're bothering me at school just to see you. Do you even realize how embarrassing that is? Every day, there's a big pile of women lining up for me?" he complained.
I couldn't help but smile slightly. I didn't expect him to be so upset about my popularity.
He seemed even more irritated, crossing his arms and placing one leg over the other. "I'm the school president, Phi. I'm supposed to be a role model, but if this keeps up, they might think I'm a fuck boy or something. That's not good for my image, Phi!" he scolded me.
I sighed. Fourth is still a highschool student, and my fans are already in college. I'm afraid they might do something to him because of me. Maybe they've really gone too far from going to his school.
"Don't worry, I'll talk to them." I assured him.
Fourth nodded at my response. I returned my attention to adjusting my appearance in the mirror. I was wearing a khaki dress shirt with three buttons undone, paired with dark brown slacks and a Gucci dive watch with a navy blue and red nylon strap, matte black dial, and stainless-steel case.
I could see my brother's puzzled expression in the mirror, clearly wondering why I was putting so much effort into my appearance.
"Are you serious about her?"
"What?" I turned around, surprised. I didn't expect him to ask that.
"Well, you seem really detailed about your look today. You never do that; you usually just wear whatever you grab from the closet. So, what's special about her?" he asked, intrigued about my date.
I sighed. "It's a he" I clarified.
His face immediately shifts from curiosity to amusement. He leaned forward, resting his chin on his hands clearly interested.
"It's a guy? Tell me more about him!" he said, enthusiastically.
I shook my head with a smirk. "You don't need to know. He's just a temporary thing."
His face instantly dropped as he looked at me, disbelief of what I said. "What does that mean?" he asked, irritated.
"He's just a bet. I don't plan on falling in love with him," I said casually, then sprayed some perfume on my clothes.
Dunk is really a bet. Why would I lie about that on my brother?
Fourth looked at me disappointed. He sighed before massaging the bridge of his nose. "I don't like where this is going, Phi."
"Don't worry. He won't make it to the point where I'll introduce him to you and Mom. Just stay out of it." I said, trying to reassure him. "Besides, after this bet, I'll make a million,"
