You and Cordell had been friends a very long time but some thing has recently changed between you two you've become more around each other and recently you started to have feelings for Cordell but you were scared to tell that you liked him or was starting to like him.
But you decide tonight you were gonna tell him once he had finished worked and after worked he would go home and change and come straight to the side step to get a beer, but you in the mean time you were planning on how to say that you had feelings for him or was starting to get feelings for him.
You seen him come through the door and straight to the bar to see how you doing and to see if it was busy but it was just starting to get busy, you knew it was going to be a busy night ahead of you.
But you turn around to Cordell and asked if you guys could talk.
Y/n: do you think we could talk about something that I've been wanting to get of my chest
Cordell: yeah of course, are you okay
Y/n: so this is gonna be so weird to say but i'm just going to say, Cordell hanging out and just being around you it's kind of changed everything for me, to have this new feeling inside me whenever i see come through the doors my heart racing, or when i see i get butterflies in my stomach, what i'm trying to say is that i like you
Cordell: y/n you mean the world to me and we've obviously been friends for a long time, and seeing you makes me happy and i like you too
Y/n: wait really you're playing with me cause Cordell I literally just poured my heart out to you and I don't wanna be let down or broken inside
Cordell: no no y/n I'm being serious I like you
Once you and Cordell got the feelings part out of the way he had asked you out and said yes to the date with him, you couldn't wait you excited be also nervous too.
But as you servicing someone there drink you knew Cordell was checking cause you could just feel his eyes follow you're every move not that you were enjoying cause you were.
You couldn't believe it that you had a date with Cordell you couldn't wait.
