Chapter 01
hya
⋆˚✿˖°In a field full of beautiful flowers, where the wind carries whispers too ancient to decipher, and blooming petals held old secrets and mysteries, I discovered that every flower has a different story to tell.
Whether it's the famed roses, tulips, daisies, sunflowers, or the elusive Middlemist's Red and Ghost Orchid, each bloom holds a story so hauntingly beautiful that it effortlessly caress the hearts of those beautiful souls who dares to listen to a language only silence understands — the kind of silence that screams truth and people who've always been untrue were so afraid to hear and feel it.
Perhaps these beauties are even said to be nature's silent poets, for in every delicate petals, tales were secretly written — tales that kept the voices of the broken hearts and lost souls.
Whereas every bloom unfurls like a chapter in a book, brimming with deep secrets and emotions we've yet to encounter and feel. Emotions that's been hidden for so long, left unspoken, and was just patiently waiting to be awakened.
"What are you reading, Hyacinth?" marahang tanong ng pinsan kong si Julia.
It's the end week of october kaya hindi na kami pinapasukan ng ibang prof. Konting push nalang at masasabi narin naming 'We survived Grade 11!'
Oh, my bad, may second semester pa nga pala. Pft.
She did not join anything kasi balak niya raw mag-rest from the stressful midterm exam.
"That book looks ancient. Where did you get that?"
"It's one of mom's treasures," I replied softly. "You know she's so inlove with writing, right? This is one of the books she had written. Sobrang ganda, Juls. Gusto mo ba subukang basahin?"
I sneaked in to mom's abandoned room and tried to look for her old journals. I wanna read them all. Tita Jewel and Lola Thesa always got mad when they hear anyone mentioning my mother's name.
Their reason? I don't actually know.
Julia pouted and shook her head. "Maybe next time nalang? I still want to finish the movie I'm currently watching, e. Sorry..."
