When Tim arrived at Lucy's apartment, he was shocked to see the door standing open. When he entered and saw signs of struggle, he immediately panicked. Her phone was still on the counter and her purse and car keys as well. She wouldn't leave without them. He hastily dialed Sargent Grey. "Sir, Lucy is missing, there are signs of a struggle," he said in a panicked voice, trying hard to control his emotions and think rationally.
"Bradford... Benson called the station from prison..." the rest of the Grey's words a blur. No, he couldn't lose her now, he wanted to tell her how he felt tonight, how he regretted walking away from them. How she was the best thing that ever happened to him. How his life had become divided into two pieces, the time before Lucy and the time after and how all that really mattered was the time after, the time with her.
How he couldn't bear to live without her anymore.
He felt he was on autopilot. "We're on our way, Lopez and Harper, all of us, we're all going to work to find her. We'll find her Tim," Grey said determined through the phone.
------
Lucy's head pounded. Her mouth was dry, and her neck was sore. She was disorientated and the weak light flickering above her didn't help. The room was dimly lit, you could hear the crackle of the light bulb shimmering above her. Her wrists hurt; she was tied to a chair. It was all too familiar. Panic set in as she was immediately transported back to the time Caleb had tied her to the chair. But this time her fear was unparalleled, she no longer had just her own life to fear for, but also the life of her unborn baby.
She choked back a sob, trying to stay strong as she surveyed her surroundings. She was in a moldy, cold, grey cement room, likely underground. There was a big metal door a few metres in front of her with a small window on it. She could smell the dampness in the air and could taste metal in her mouth. She looked down at her belly as a sharp pain suddenly shot down her right side and found some blood seeping through her shirt. Her panic overwhelmed her as she saw the blood. No, her baby has to be okay. She hadn't even got a chance to tell her baby's father about her. Lucy started thrashing against her restraints, trying to pull free with all the strength in her but she was no match for them.
"Uh-uh," she heard a voice tut from behind her, it was Michael. "Benson told me I needed to take out revenge on the two cops who ratted him out," he stalked to stand in front of her, a menacing look on his face as he swept a sharp blade against his hand, "Imagine my surprise when I saw it wasn't just you I captured, Lucy Chen," he pointed the sharp knife at her belly with a deranged smile, and Lucy's head buzzed with fear. This man was clearly perturbed.
She couldn't compose herself anymore "What did you do to me?!!" she screamed, her side hurting from the force and she winced.
Her thoughts immediately shot to Tim. It was natural to form a bond with the person who saved you. And Tim and Lucy had saved one another more times than they could care to count. But this was more than that. It was more than a sense of duty to protect each other. Tim was incredibly protective of Lucy and Lucy was the same towards Tim. Lucy had risked her life jumping from one vehicle to another. The only thing that had mattered is that she had to save Tim. Because even though they're relationship was strained, it didn't change the fact that she loved him. All she could hope, was that Tim would somehow be able to find her and save her again.
Michael cackled and then swiftly knocked Lucy out with a hit against the head.

Tim's mind was swirling. He felt like he was on a merry-go-round that couldn't stop spinning. He was nauseous and could barely see straight.
"Tim, just breathe okay, just breathe," Angela said with concern laced in her voice. Tim always seemed so unflappable, but when it came to Lucy, he was a different person. He seemed so vulnerable.
Angela, Nyla, John, Aaron, Celina, Grey, Tamara and even Wesley were all working at the station trying to run down leads on Benson and his goons.
Tim had run down a few leads, but he didn't come up with anything, the trauma of losing her again was too much for him to navigate and he fell into a panic attack after another lead fell flat. He wasn't sure how much time passed while he tried bringing himself down from this panic while racking his brain on any information he had on Benson and his goons, but it was well past 3 am. Lucy had now been missing for almost 8 hours.
"We found a lead on one of Benson's goons, Michael," he heard Angela say but it didn't quite register until she spoke up again, "It looks promising. He bought an abandoned building a few months ago when Benson escaped, likely in preparation for this next stint," Angela continued, "we're mobilising teams there now".
Tim shot up ready for action.
---
They were advancing towards the abandoned building in formation from the left and the right, securing any entry and exit points. It was a small run-down storage facility, two entry points and four windows, two staircases – one up and one down.
Tim was the first to lead into the building as soon as they breached the entrance, taking down two of the guards in the process.
They broke up in teams, one taking to clear the upper floor and Tim leading the other down to the basement. The lights were flickering, and you could faintly hear the pound of their footsteps reverberating off the cold damp walls, every now and then hearing the rhythmical echoing drop of water.
There was a hallway leading to a dead-end, but a door to the left with a small window revealed to them the information Tim so desperately needed. He held up his fist removing his finger from the trigger, signaling everyone to stop and for some of the team to proceed to the right side of the door. He peered in through the dirty window. Lucy was there. But she wasn't moving, her body was limp, and her head was flopped forward.
Angela peered into the window and signaled that there was one hostile inside. They communicated via sign to set a plan in action.
The next moment they burst through the door. Tim immediately sprinted to Lucy while Nyla and Angela took on Michael, throwing punches and kicks.
Tim wanted nothing more than to beat the shit out of this motherf*cker, but his top priority was making sure Lucy was okay.
He immediately noted the blood seeping through her side and the bruise around her neck. She had cuts and scrapes on her face, her cheek bruised purple. He felt relief when he palpated her pulse under his fingers. She was alive, thank God. He immediately worked on loosening her restraints as the fight behind him continued. As soon as he freed her, he swept her up in his arms.
"Suspects apprehended, one officer down, unconscious but breathing, requesting immediate RA to our location," Angela called over the radio. They had beaten Michael, and he was lying face down with his hands behind his back in cuffs, Angela looming over him with her knee to his back.
Tim rushed Lucy outside. Bailey arrived on scene and immediately attended to Lucy who was yet to regain consciousness. They practically had to peel her from Tim's arms as they loaded her onto the gurney and into the ambulance. Tim followed suit.
Bailey called in codes on their way to the hospital to alert them of their impending arrival, "Female victim, off duty officer, 29 years old, roughly 4 months pregnant, head and abdominal blunt and sharp force trauma, unconscious but breathing."
Tim's jaw opened and he stared in shock at Bailey and then Lucy. Lucy was pregnant??

How was that for a shocker? Tim did not see that coming, :P
