It was the day after she gave birth to their precious baby girl, Jade had just woken up and saw her beautiful daughter in front of her, she just stared at her, speechless, she doesn't know how to express her feelings towards her, she felt as though all the pain that she went through was nothing, hell she would do it again a million times if it meant that she got her daughter again and again.

The day that she was born, Zaia was placed in the NICU, for monitoring. She was released a day later, considering that she was absolutely healthy, you could say she got her mother's strength.

She sat up straight and looked around the room, she saw Beck sleeping on a chair with a cloth in his hand, she knew he stayed up late with Zaia, she reached over to the bassinet next to her and picked up her daughter

Her eyes fluttered open, she saw her wincing as the sunlight hit her big blue's, she stared up at her mother, as if she was admiring her

She was the perfect mix between Beck and Jade, she had her father's tan olive skin, her mother's button nose, her father's luscious hair, her mother's beautiful bushy brows, her father's lips, and her mother's big blue orbs

Jade was in awe of her, she was perfect, everything she ever wanted and more, she held her baby girl tight in her arms, she then started reading a poem she wrote in anticipation of her daughter:

Growing up I was never shown any kind of love...
Until I dropped my books and looked slightly above...
Your Daddy was the one who noticed my gloves...
I was shielding what was under from the people that I love...
Bear, when I first learned of you I was in denial...
What I knew was that this was going to be harder than being on 'Survivor'...
Zaia, when I looked into your eyes only one thing came to mind...
That I was gonna love you 'til the day that I die...

"Wow.."

Jade was startled

"You heard that?"

"I did, Jade it's beautiful"

"I wrote it for her"

Beck got up and sat next to Jade on the hospital bed, he put his arm around her, cradling their daughter with her

"She's lucky to have you as her mother"

"I'm the one that's lucky"

"Thank you Jade"

"For what?"

"For giving me the best gift life could give"

Jade looked at Beck tearfully, she kissed him with all the love in her heart, she felt lucky to have him in her life, she felt him smile in their kiss

As they were kissing they heard a knock at the door

"Who is it?"

"It's us! Can we come in!?"

Beck and Jade laughed, hearing the excitement in their dear friend Cat's voice

"Come in guys"

Cat swung the door open and she skipped inside, the rest followed after with smiles on their faces

"Can I hold her!? Can I!? Can I!?"

"Yes kitty you can, come here sit down"

Cat sat down next to Jade on the bed, Jade carefully placed her daughter in Cat's arms

"Hi baby! I'm your aunt Cat, I promise I will love and protect you no matter what, if you ever need anything I'm here for you"

Zaia smiled at Cat, it's as if she understood what she was saying

"Congratulations guys she's absolutely beautiful"

"She really is"

"What's her name?"

Jade looked into Cat's eyes

"Zaia Riley West Oliver"

"Really?"

Cat looked into Jade's eyes, they were both tearing up, Jade nodded, Cat let out a tearful chuckle, as a tear slowly ran down her face

"She would've loved her"

"Now she really is with us forever, isn't that right Z?"

Zaia cooed at her mother, and they all awed in unison

"Come on hand her over, it's Godfather time"

"Dude chill she's not a toy"

Cat passed Zaia to Andre

"Hey girl, listen if you need anything come to me alright? Your my girl and uncle 'dre has got you, alright baby girl?"

They spent the next hour talking and laughing, each one taking turns holding Zaia

One by one they left, except for Cat she insisted that she stayed the night so that Beck can go home, shower, and take a break

She spent the night just talking with Cat, they took turns of taking care of Zaia but other than that the night was good

Jade was happy, it was the perfect end to the perfect night
