Why now?

Home sweet home..

It's been 2 days since Jade had Zaia, it was officially the day she's going home, they were both excited to get to their apartment but they were dreading finishing it, especially with a newborn

The car ride home was nice and peaceful, Beck was the one driving, Jade was in the backseat with Zaia, who was placed in a carseat

She was admiring her daughter, the way her eyes were so big and full of life, the way her cheeks were plump and tinted pink, the way her lips sat in a natural pout, she was in awe

'How did I just have this adorable baby?'

'She's so perfect, maybe even too perfect'

"She's so beautiful, I can barley comprehend it"

"What was that?"

"Oh did I speak out loud?"

"You did yeah"

"I was just admiring her, Beck I love her too much"

"Hey I get it, I mean I suddenly have the urge to just grab her and protect her from everything, and tell her no guy is ever good for her"

"I just met you Z-Bear how do I love you so much?"

Jade lovingly stared at her daughter

"We're home!"

They pulled up to the apartment building, Beck helped Jade get out as she was still hurting, he then grabbed the car seat that had Zaia in it and they all went in

Jade grabbed the door handle, swung it open and gasped

Turns out while she was in the hospital, The gang and Ms West helped decorate the apartment, and luckily got it done before the new family came home

"Guys! What is this!?"

"This is your new apartment!"

"You guys didn't have to do this"

"You deserve it, plus you were never gonna get it done while taking care of Zaia"

"You guys deserve it"

Jade was speechless, she knew her friends were supportive but this was a whole other thing

"Thank you guys so much"

"Wow Zaia really changed her, it's the first time she's thanked us"

"Watch it Vega"

"There she is"

It's been an hour since Beck and Jade came home, the gang helped them settle in and they just hung out in the living room, it was as if everything was normal and life was exactly how it was

Jade heard Zaia crying from the nursery, she excused herself and went to check on her

"Hi Z-Bear, it's okay baby I got you"

Jade sat down on the nursing chair, and started nursing Zaia

She heard a knock from the door, she threw a sheet on to cover herself 

"Come in"

"Hi Jadey, Hi Zaia"

"Hey Kitty"

"How are you doing?"

Cat sat down in front of Jade

"I'm good"

"Seriously"

"I feel..happy, it's as if when she came into my life all my problems just washed away"

"I'm really happy for you, seriously"

"Thanks Kitty"

"She would be proud of you, you're growing past everything, and are trying to overcome all of your fears for Zaia"

"I can't let her know that, I wanna be strong for her, she's my everything Cat I can't let anything happen to her, I'm scared of failing her"

Cat looked deep into Jade's eyes, and smiled

"Jade as long as she has you as her mother, nothing is happening to her trust me, I know her mom very well"

Jade smiled down at her daughter

"She's beautiful, talented, smart, brave, strong, and an amazing woman, who always follows her dreams no matter what happens or whatever gets in her way, she's very loyal to her friends and family, and would do absolutely anything in her power to protect them..If I had that woman as my mother, I would be the luckiest girl in the world"

Jade looked up at Cat, as a tear was running down her face

"Kitty, I don't know what I would do without you, I mean Z is lucky to have you as her aunt"

"Jade you're my best friend, I literally would do anything for you, and that little girl in your arms is the most loved baby in the world, and I promise to love and protect her no matter what happens, so how about I stay the night, to help you out?"

"You're welcome at any time Cat, the apartment is yours as much as it is mine"

They hugged deeply, and spent their time talking and playing with Zaia, little did they know that the gang heard their conversation

Beck turned to his friends

"We're gonna be just fine"
