(Flashback)
3 Weeks after Nhazul went Rogue....
Currently within the hospital, the rhythmic beeping of the heart monitor filled the room, as Inko sat by Izuku's bedside, her hands clasped tightly in her lap, worry etched across her face. She couldn't shake the fear that her son might not wake up. Beside her, Melissa maintained a calm demeanor, her bright smile a stark contrast to the heavy atmosphere.
Melissa: Don't worry, Mrs. Midoriya. This isn't enough to stop your son. I know he'll come back to us.
She reassured, her eyes glinting with unwavering hope. Inko glanced at Melissa, finding a flicker of comfort in her words. She wanted to believe it, to hold onto that sliver of light.
Inko: But what if...?
Inko's voice trailed off, too afraid to voice her deepest fears.
Melissa: No 'what ifs' allowed.
Melissa said, her tone light yet firm.
Melissa: Izuku has so much to fight for. He'll wake up. I know it.
Just as Melissa finished her sentence, a subtle movement drew their attention. Izuku's slowly fluttered, and his fingers twitched. Inko gasped, her breath hitching in her throat.
Inko: Izuku!
She cried, leaning closer, her heart racing. With a surprised gasp, Izuku opened his eyes, the familiar green glint illuminating his face. The room spun into focus, and he blinked, momentarily disoriented.
Izuku: Mom? Melissa?
He croaked, his voice barely above a whisper, as the two erupted in relief. Inko was the first to react, throwing her arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace.
Inko: Oh, Izuku! You're awake! I was so worried!
Tears of relief streamed down her cheeks as she held him close. Melissa joined in, wrapping her arms around both of them.
Melissa: You had us scared there for a moment! I knew you'd come back, but seeing you like this...
Her voice trailed off, overwhelmed with emotion. Izuku, though still weak, smiled through the haze of his recovery.
Izuku: I'm sorry for worrying you... I just needed to rest a bit and have a long talk...
Hearing this, both Inko and Melissa would look at him confused. Upon being woken up, the Pro Heroes would be informed. All Might would be the first to arrive, seeing the doctor talking to Inko and Melissa about Izuku.
All Might: Young Midoriya! I'm glad to see that you are finally up.
Izuku: Thanks, All Might.
With All Might now in the room, the doctor would speak about Izuku's condition.
Doctor: It seems that, you've been previously warned that these extreme injuries could leave you immobilized. You're luck that you didn't suffer quite the same injury. In the past, it was as if that little explosions were contained in your body, but this time they made their way to the surface. additionally, those Support Items you had reinforce your limbs enough to keep them from shattering.
Izuku recalls the injuries he suffered at 5 percent and then at 80 percent, as the doctor continued to speak.
Doctor: The injuries were similar in nature but your body has changed since then. Nevertheless, the deterioration hasn't stopped, so do be careful.
